The food was amazing. The best burger and onion rings I have every had. I live in Sacramento and I am willing to drive the 30 minutes just get that burger again.

We stopped in Woodland after a long day of driving anticipating a pleasant evening in a historical town centre with ambience. Not so. Being Sunday, one of the only open places was the Burger Saloon. Service was minimal, burger barely edible, and drinks (house red wine) barely drinkable,
Great food. Huge beer and craft cocktail selection. Good service. Great atmosphere. Family friendly. Wide selection of burgers and amazing beer battered onion rings and fries. The fried dill pickle chips were phenomenal.
Wow this place is a wreck , well I know this place opened a few years ago and may have been good once. But not now, the whole creepy vibe with the owner and his Entourage in the corner not checking on people just standing there overlooking the restaurant. Yes it was packed, with only one waitress it took forever to get our bill, it took even longer getting it paid. Now let's talk about the food, I go to order the loaded potato skins and was told that they are no longer on the menu. I clearly see them on the menu second off the nice lady said my burger would come out medium well, not true it was more medium and had the taste of char It was like the cooks forgot how to use salt and pepper. It was unappetizing. Overall not a good place for burgers or if you are in a rush. And too the cooks salt and pepper go a long way.
Had the bacon and bacon hamburger... good burger.We had 14 in our group... showed up at 715pm, and closing time is 8pm.The staff let us order and treated us with good service ?

It takes a lot for me to get jazzed over a hamburger, but this place does burgers and onion rings absolutely proper. Woodland is lucky to have this place!
I enjoyed the vibe and food from this place. The service was good. The burger was huge, patty was cooked perfectly medium rare. Delicious sauce. Done super well and high quality.
We had the sunrise, the humongous fungus, and shared an order of the garlic fries. Everything was out solutely fabulous and tasty. The service was excellent. And the restaurant itself is a very nicely appointed and comfortable without being ostentatious.
I went there on December 20th for a work Xmas party. It was my first time. The food was amazing. I especially loved the deep fried cauliflower. My burger I had was very good. It had a fried egg in it. Can't remember the name. But it was amazing. And the garlic fries. ? .will go back for sure.
