Went for dinner with my family while on vacation, our waitress, Amanda, was super sweet and kind. She was on top of her game! Quite literally the best service i have ever experienced. Even the hostess was very welcoming and kind! Food was delicious obviously! Amanda is actually normally a cook, but you should put her on the floor more!:) she’s a very good people person
This place has no ac. Don't come here during the summer. The mash potato were very salty and the cheese. The only thing is good here is the soda and the bread in my experience. My steak is not even rare, they give me well done.
Went for breakfast. It seemed a bit small, but it was nice. The waitress was polite and made us laugh. It was just me and my mom having breakfast. The chicken fried steak was big, the biscuits were big. I think just the portions are just big. I ended up eating everything it was really delicious. Gave good tip and had a good time. Thanks!
Very friendly staff. Wonderful food. Go hungry, or the willingness to share because most plates are easily sharable. I've dined at many BB Diners, in every state located and have never been disappointed.
We had a bad experience at different Brown Bear restaurant so have avoided them for several years. This Brown Bear was right next to the hotel we were staying at and as we had a long travel day, decided to have breakfast here. We were NOT disappointed! The service was great and the food was very good with large portions. The staff was helpful and the restaurant was clean and sanitized.
So I went an got a to go order last week spent 200$ and when I got home to eat the steaks were rare so I called they said they would replace the 2 meals . Cool that was nice .. when I called today the lady Theresa was really rude and said she knows nothing about it an she was busy to call back tomorrow. Very unhappy
Awesome Birthday with my family ???Food was great & the Server made the meal. She got my birthday started. She had such a good vibe going on. We need more people with a up beat personality like her.
The place seemed busy. They didn't have any chicken or turkey sausage or patties to sub for bacon. I ended up with county potatoes and asked for no onions or pepper's and they came with a few. I tried a potato that wasn't near an onion and that's all I tasted, so I didn't eat those. The eggs were good, the french toast was good, but I had to cut the crust off, It was too hard. My friend said the waffle was good.
I ordered a full dinner using doordash.. The meal was great but I ordered dessert of banana cream pie. It was gross. The bananas were rotten. The custard was hard and the whipped cream was old and and like paste.
Had a good experience last November, but most recent dine-in was lackluster. The prime rib entree was un-typically small for Black Bear, especially at $20+ dollars. The veggies came on the plate still wrapped in a plastic bag, presumably from being nuked in the microwave.
