Best place in the valley to get THE BEST QUALITLY SUSHI!!!! Chefs are very knowledgeable and helpfull in getting what you crave ?
Really disappointed. Awful service and the food was mediocre at best. Waiter gave us attitude for wanting to split checks based off of items since friend and I didn’t share any food. Waiter then proceeded to mix up our cards, gave us attitude that we wanted the transactions voided, and almost mixed up the cards for a second time! We had to wait forever to get it fixed.
Small place, not that prettyButttThe food is so delicious and so freshI'll be back for sureRecommended
Most disrespectful tall guy server that is always there. Rarely write bad reviews but he is bad vibe and food is hit or miss . Wouldn’t recommend
Very much a great place to get sushi. Everyone is so friendly and the check for COVID vaccine AND ID to make sure it's you! I love that. Thank you to the staff for such a lovely meal with my wife!
Great quality fish, presentation, and service. Top notch all the way. I have driven by this place a hundred times and never noticed this sushi bar. So glad a friend mentioned it in a post.
Feel bad for the employees so little hours. The male host is so stressed he comes off as rude but he is generally kindthe sushi is pretty good?
SO Sushi is sooooooooooooooo horrible!Let me begin to say that I NEVER EVER post a negative review. I just don't, but feel compelled to do this as a public service! We LOVE sushi and are always looking for different, good places. We went there when it first opened, as the owner was formerly at Niko's, a very good place in Tarzana so we tried it back then. That first experience was very good. Soon after, we went again with our whole family and it was a raging disappointment. Years have passed and because they have patio dining (and the aforementioned one in Tarzana has very limited), we decided to give it one more chance and cross our fingers. It was WORSE than our memory served. Even the edamame was disgusting, gray in color and so over cooked that it was dry and tasteless. We asked them to do it again, which they did very graciously, and still the same! The beans were actually partially black in color and when we questioned that, we were told that it is a "different variety". We've sampled enough through the many years at many places to know "BS" when we hear it. We had one mediocre roll. The Shishido peppers were like eating a fire bomb and we LOVE SPICY! These were intolerable.Wanting to end on a high note, the salmon sashimi actually was very good quality. AND our server was very good, gracious and wanted to make it a good experience for us. Unfortunately, she was neither the owner nor the sushi chef!!P.S. Plenty pricey!! And had we not cut our order to half of what we normally would (wanting to "sample" first before going crazy), it would be every bit as expensive as our favorite sushi place in Encino, Katsuya (also with no patio seating).I simply do not understand the excellent reviews here. I hate to post such a negative review, but felt obligated to warn others.
Incredible sushi, super fresh fish and the seasoning with the sauces is pure genius
