So I used to live in Woodland Hills and this was my standard sushi place to go to. It's and All You Can Eat, but made to order restaurant. I've always been happy here. It's basically family run, good quality and a good deal.

I went there for the first time with a female friend and made us wait for 45 mins to sit, only one chef available and he already had 9 people serving at the bar, the wait was understandable; however after waiting, they sat us with the same chef when there were 2 other chefs arriving; they sat 3 with one new chef and 5 with the other new chef, AND 6 more with the first chef that was going to assist us, in addition the first chef was also preparing the to-go orders and the orders for the tables. We had to wait almost 8 to 11 mins between each of our own orders, and every time we would try to place a double order so we would have something to eat while the chef was busy the chef replied “Just wait, you have to wait” and would only prepare 1 and forget the 2nd order, we had at least 4 spaces of time of waiting with NO food, if you eat sushi you know each order comes with 4 pieces of sushi per person, well, HERE they only provide 2 pieces per person, NOT worth the All you can eat if you have to wait long to re order. At the last order at the exact 1 hr I advised it would be our last order, me being considered of the time stipulated, the chef said to my female friend “You are still hungry?” I just looked at him and stood quiet, he nervously giggled and turned around to prepare the sushi. I am very respectful and did not appreciate at all the service at this location nor the comments. I spent a total of $87.00 and definitely will not go back.

The sushi chef Brian was incredibly rude. He was demanding I put my a la cart order in before I was ready. My friend said he was done he goes "finally". This was the most unprofessional service worker I have ever encountered. With his attitude you would think he is the owner and if he is it was still awful service where you'd think you were working for him.

Good quality sushi at a decent price. Their menu selection is good too. You only get one hour for the all you can eat option, which IMO is not enough time, especially if place is crowded and the way service is. The sushi chefs are friendly, but when you order, it takes a while to get your food. They walk away or start talking to each other, our chef even started preparing food for other guest and we had ordered first. Overall okay experience, if they improve their service, this place would really be a great spot IMO. Parking available right next door to the business.

The best sushi place in the valley, hands down. Brian is an absolute master chef and always makes my rolls exactly the way I like them. Great value, great food, friendly atmosphere, my go-to sushi place.

Literally the nicest people ever! The sushi tastes fresh and is so delicious. I 100% recommended this place

Very poor service by the staff. We stood by the counter and waited patiently for 15 mins to be seated with a nearly empty restaurant. (Dozens of available seats) One of the workers pulled out a toothbrush and brushed his teeth behind the sushi bar! Eww...That is a new one. Lastly, no one making the sushi was wearing gloves. I really have to say that it was an expensive and disappointing experience.

By far the best quality sushi I've had in the Valley.Unfortunately they don't enforce any kind of time limit so people will stay doing AYCE for hours while you wait for entirely too long, but you stay because you've already invested so much time, then you're told you won't be able to be seated.Mind you this had only happened once of my many times there so that's why it is still four stars, but if you go and see several groups having the time of their lives you should probably just go somewhere else.

1st the busboy barked at me for my vaccination card, was very unnecessary, I gladly presented it.The front glass doors were very dirty, covered in fingerprints, for being this vigilant about checking vac cards, they might want to do a better job sanitizing. The sushi bar counter top was also sticky. The sushi guy was very nice and very fast but the quality of the sushi was just sub-par and also scant...could barely see avocado on the rice cake w/spicy tuna which was scant... avo was barely present, mostly this was rice....The sauce on the tiger roll was "weirdly sweet" not in a flavorful way. The dynamite roll was plentiful with the mini scallops but the scallops were tough, hard, tasteless. Lastly, the tempura batter on the tempura was way too dense and the oil it was fried in tasted like the oil should've been changed out. The tempura dipping sauce should be a see-through-broth-like appearance, what I got was a black, muddy color...Honestly, I ate it all because I was starving and also because if you didn't there were postings for all kinds of extra charges if you left rice behind or left any rolls behind...just not an appealing dining experience....Even though I love all-you-can-eat sushi and this place offered just that, I simply wouldn't return.. sorry for bad review...I almost always write raving reviews..but this just wasn't good for sushi on Ventura boulevard.
