I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I say this is the best sandwich I've had in my life...I've tried a couple of different ones now and I've never once been disappointed. The bread is soooo soft and buttery, the ingredients fresh and delicious, the vibe of the place is super nostalgic and everyone there has been nice. Keep tipping them well--they deserve it
Customer service is very poor and they don't follow online instructions well. They try to move fast and it's not efficient. You have to physically go there if you want your food done right. I ordered on Uber eats and they did not include all of my sandwiches. I ordered 2 La street Pastramis and it arrived stapled shut with only ONE sandwich. They were not courteous about it and the guy on the phone was rude and said "we can't help you". Thankfully Uber eats returned my money
Absolutely the best sandwiches around. An endless menu with such variety makes this place amazing. The bread is the softest you'll have anywhere too. The same employees are there every time I go. If possible, bring a quarter and pay a meter on the street. Their parking lot is tiny, and you'll likely have to back into traffic coming down Ventura Boulevard.
I love this place. I used to be a teachers aid when I went to el Camino real and the teacher I TA for since it was the period before lunch he would have me go to dans and pick up the order for him and several other teachers. I always got the meatball sub. Now the only other place I would get before Dans has been closed for over 10 years probably more. Anyway good subs for a good price and they are big subs too.
This is formal complain in writing regarding mytreatment at Da Super Sub located at 22446Ventura blvd in Woodland Hills. Whenever I go thereto pick up an order the guy is very obnoxiousdisrespectful rude and downright bigotry. This is notan isolated incident where I can overlook hisbehavior. He has been treating me disrespectful andhis discriminatory behavior is on full display for all tosee. Case in point whenever I go there and the orderisn't ready I told to wait outside while the non blackswait inside once the order is ready he wants me tomarked order as 'picked up' without giving me achance to exam the order to verify its accuracywhen I refused he then proceed to use profanitylaced epitaph telling me he doesn't have to serveand why don't I leave. This is very poor customerservice that's why I'm making a formal complaint
The guy's been there at the counter since I was a kid, at least 20 years. I'm glad this place is true to what its famous for and hasn't strayed much. They're always so busy but never rude, phone ahead is a must. You can even buy their staff T-shirts so you'll never lose the number.
Fresh, tasty bread. Superb sauces. Exquisite cheeses. Hearty meats. There is no other sandwich shop in los angeles county that can equal this powerhouse. Drive from far and wide to enjoy this diamond in the rough
First time. Great menu, prices. Parking a problem. Worth the inconvenience. Great local restaurant. Tremendous takeout business. A must stop.
Bought online during lunch, took much longer than it was projected to take. Unfortunately the place is really small and it was very chaotic with all the customers they had. People working the counter seemed like nice enough people though. The parking here is on the street and pretty rough. Overall if you want something fast and easy this probably isn't the best place to go. But if you're on foot or have plenty of time then by all means, they have good sandwiches for good prices.
Very nice place with tasty sandwiches!Family business!A lot of differences of sandwiches and tastes, buns are soft and fresh, veggies are juicy, meat poultry and tuna are delicious ??
