I used to eat here alot and always had good service. I was here this last Sunday around 5:30pm After I ordered and looked around for a table, maybe half were taken, all the other tables had left over food on them and hadn't been cleaned. No one was cleaning them after the people left. After waiting around for 5 minutes and not seeing anyone I asked the person behind the counter to have someone clean the tables. This guy then came out and knew I was the one waiting for a table. When I told him that I wanted to sit by the window he goes I'll get to it, and proceeded to clean all the tables in the back of the restaurant first. We waited another 7 minutes before he actually got a table cleaned off for us. Almost 15 minutes had gone by and by then our food was ready. This place has horrible service and dirty dishes everywhere. I drove half an hour each way to get to this location. This restaurant used to be a nice place to come to, not anymore. I'll never come here again
Clam Chowder awful too creamy, not hot and just tastes like clams. Atlantic Salmon (blackened) overcooked, lemon wedges cut too thin, prices reasonable and they don't take $100 bills even with my $60 order! My only and last trip to this nicely located restaurant with a lot of potential!
I love this place. The food is very good, quality is excellent, and prices are very affordable. California Fish Grill is the place to visit for lunch or Dinner 2-4 a week and you will not get tired of it.If you like fish California Fish Grill is the place you must try.
This place is pretty consistent with the quality of the food that they put out. Even when they do make a mistake, the management team here takes accountability and corrects the mistake while making the customer feel cared for. Some of the front line staff have communication issues, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying this place out. All in all, a healthy meal that tasted great for a decent price. Not the cheapest, but they don’t break your bank either. I would have no problem eating here weekly or on a more consistent basis. Enjoy!
Food is clean, tasteful, and worth the money. My personal choice is the branzino, with coleslaw with a choice between rice, and cauliflower rice. To the owners of this chain, you are doing wonderful and I highly recommend.
I visited your woodland hills location today and ordered your limited salmon dish (2 pieces) and when i got my food, one of pieces was so small that didn’t make sense of counting it as one piece. Staff didn’t help and i had to get refund. I thought maybe this would be helpful to know people experience.Happy holidays!
Definitely not haute cuisine. On the other hand if you're looking for a reasonably priced extremely consistent place to grab seafood especially for takeout, California Fish Grill works really well. Excellent fish and chips BTW.
this place is awesome , any kinda fish u want cooked in any form and such great prices, love it for lunches, going back back back. and the Fish&Chips, out of this world, sooooo fresh.
California Fish Grill is the place to go for fast, affordable, delicious seafood, on a budget. It doesn't break the bank but delivers on your seafood cravings. I've tried a couple of their entrees and have only been disappointed with their fried shrimp and calamari. It got hard and chewy pretty fast. I love their rice choices. Especially the cauliflower rice for those healthier days.
My sister and I received uncooked white fish last night and we told the manager and he just asked if we wanted more fish. We should have received our money back. We both got sick that evening.Good service and the kale slaw was good as well as the sticky rice. Nice bus people, especially Isaiah.The manager needs to check for quality control and proper temperatures.
