Bobby's Coffee Shop. I have always seen it there and never bothered to go in. Because of my accident, I suffered a lot of injuries on the left side of my body. So, to get better, I started to go on long walks. I would walk from Woodlake and Burbank to Vanowen and Fallbrook or to Ventura and Fallbrook. There was that sign there, calling my name. I decided to go in, not expecting much. It was busy, and the staff was busy. I sat at the counter and someone asked me if I wanted a drink right away. I said sure then my order was taken. Since I was at the counter, I got to watch the cook. Man, those weren't pancakes, they were flying saucers. I couldn't believe the portions they were serving. I ordered a Denver omelette with hash browns. It was great. The food was delicious. So, I had to come back and try a few other things. The corned beef hash, homemade and so tasty. And the staff is so friendly and always there for youThis place has the best laid back atmosphere, the best food, the best staff of any place I have ever been to. I am remembered when I go there and that is such a plus for a restaurant to remember their customers. If you have never been here, go there, at least once. You won't regret it. I love this place. I will always come back here no matter how far away I am. Thank you Bobby's, you guys are the best, really, you are!
We loved Bobbys…until today. There are three flies on our sons food!!!! Not 1 but three!!!!! The manager response was unfortunate. We will not return to Bobbys ever again
For 50 years this establishment has been a landmark on Ventura Boulevard. Best Bacon Ever !
Great food and fabulous staff! The epitome of a breakfast shop!
If you are looking for tasteless plate a food then expect it from here. I ordered the country fried steak and I can say that I had better at a ihop. The gravy tasted like glue and the hash browns tasted like cold wet noodles. The only thing promising here was the wait time. Food was so bad that people ate and dashed knowing the trouble their Bowles were going to be in a knot.
Nice little diner, food was very good. Short stack, eggs and bacon. Very good portion and good coffee.
This is a wonderful 1950s era coffee shop. I had pancakes, eggs and sausage patties. Pancakes were light and fluffy and the sausage was delicious. This is a great place and I will be back.
Fun to watch the ballet of the staff. The awesome part was how nicely they all made things work. We sat at the counter so we had a great view. Blt was huge and yummy fries. Will definitely return!
Indoor and outdoor seating. Portions were good, food was tasty, and servers were polite and attentive. I would definitely keep this spot in mind whenever I'm in this area.
This was my dad's favorite breakfast place. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is good diner faire. I love the decor inside. This day we ate on the patio. Traffic from Ventura Blvd was really loud. That was the only problem, and not something they control.Oh - if you park in front on the street, be aware the curb is really high.
