Best clam chowder I've ever had. Very peaceful place to have brunch; the weekend rush comes in around 11am so you may want to order before then.
If you're looking for good chowder served in various delicious and creative ways, then this is the place for you!Although,if you're watching your weight, don't make a habit of this place.Chowder Barge offers more than just clam chowder though. Burgers, salads, and a wonderful, and fairly healthy Avocado Toast plate is a great option. And you can sub out the fruit for a cup of the chowder, at a very minimal extra cost. This is one of my favorite dishes, although I ordered the Chowder Burger last time, and that was amazing! Hey, a cheeseburger smothered in N.E. clam chowder? How can it not be delicious! The location is also awesome, although (and I find this to be a plus) it does list a bit depending on the tide (high/low). But it's ultimately a terrific place to eat!
Great place awesome food, tasty drinks
Great location very good Food, Full Bar.
Unique fun place to dine. A little hard to find, but worth it! One of the best claim chowders I’ve ever had!
Wonderful experience sitting outside on the patio on a windy day looking at boats and passing clouds. Service was warm and friendly. Fish and chips were piping hot and crispy. The triple chowder burger had a well toasted bun, perfectly slightly pink charred patty, flavorful chowder and tasty fried clams. On another day I'll have to enjoy a well priced beerTotal hidden gem tucked into the marina. Great wood heating inside
An absolutely perfect restaurant located in a picturesque harbor between yachts and other sailing vessels. But most importantly .. Tasty food and an interesting decor give this restaurant a lot of importance. One note about the service ... they could have been a little more polite to the customers.
Had a late lunch here on a Saturday afternoon and it was so good! We loved the clam chowder burger. The atmosphere is eclectic and the employees here are so friendly!
Amazing place. Great clam chowder, of course. Wonderful, diner-meets-hill-of-a-boat atmosphere. A place you’d like to just hang out in. And actually quite well kept. Often places that go hard on a old-times theme don’t seem to know what a duster is. Not this place. Had a wonderful time and found another favorite spot in Los Angeles.
From the ambiance, to the service, to the food everything was amazing! Came for the chowder, but will always return for the fish and chips! The fish was perfectly crispy and flaky. Can't wait to return to try more item's!
