It seems like all the good reviews are a year or so old and don’t reflect the current condition of this Winchells. I went today to grab some turkey avocado bagels and a fresh orange juice. The guy in the front had said there were no avocados nor fresh juices. I didn’t think much of it because the guy was alone and I’m usually not the one to complain. However, when I got the bagels they were stale, burned and barely had any turkey or fillings. Mind you I was still charged the original price even without the avocado. One of the worst Winchells I’ve been to and the service was also bad, the kid seemed like he didn’t want to do work or as if he didn’t care. If you want a slapped on sloppy stale bagel this is your place.
The customer service at this Winshell Donut is poor, you have to wait at the window for one of the employee to assist you. The coffee is bitter and old, they sell you stale donuts and on top of everything they act like you are interrupting their time. They never greet you and this is because they are not happy to see you! I visited this place this week and no one came to the window, So I left and bought my coffee at Starbucks, at least they sell you fresh coffee and give you good service.
Great and fast service something quick and easy can go wrong here.
THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE OPEN AT NIGHT ARROUND NORWALK, AND ALSO THE ATENDER IS VERY POLITE, AND VERY GOOD DOUGHNUTS.
Got a dozen mixed for $13.99 for the guys at work and all the donuts were stale and selection was horrible.
Truly I have been coming here for 45yrs.Just a solid doughnut shop
