We had the Tomahawk, and Grand Filets. They were well seasoned, cooked to perfection, so tender and so delicious! The sides were all very tasty as well. A bit pricy since the sides are ordered separately. The drinks were refreshing and flavorful. The ambience was very nice, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Yes I recommend The NIXON for fine dining.
We loved the Dijori chicken stix and Large Mexican shrimp cocktail we paired with a glass of Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. We ate in the bar area during happy hour (3-7pm, M-F) and took advantage of the $5 off bar menu. Their staff provided excellent service and were very attentive to follow up with us. I must share this was my first time at The Nixon, while my friend is a regular for dinner and shared that she loves all their options. I definitely recommend The Nixon Steakhouse?
My wife and I came here for our 38th anniversary. Claudia, our greeter was very friendly, and accommodating. She found us a cozy booth in a corner to enjoy the evening. Our servers, David and Celene, were outstanding! They were very efficient, and attentive at all times. The rest of the staff were also very attentive. They all came to our table to ensure we were enjoying our evening. Food was superb! We highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be returning. At the end of the evening, they surprised us with free dessert for our anniversary.
The food was amazing we had the tomahawk Steak ? best steak I’ve ever Eaten everything was Delicious
The food was amazing. Problem I have is if you are gonna charge $75 for a steak, maybe make the bread free? And if I'm gonna spend over $400 for a meal for 2 people, maybe have white table clothes, and the chef shouldn't be wearing basketball shorts? Wait staff were incredible and tentative, I felt bad for her when she had to tel me they charge for bread. Pork bellies and muscles were amazing and the rib eye was cooked to perfection.
Our Experience with the office staff was a delicious treat. My pork chop was amazing! All the sides were so yummy! Quality and expensive $$$$$.
I want to love this place, I love the area and uptown needs a place like this but I just don’t get it. I have gone twice, both times the bill is over 400 dollars but it does not taste like a 400 dollar meal. Quality of the meat has been questionable and both times the steaks are not cooked as ordered. The sides are extremely oily, drinks are ok. I want to get behind this place so bad but I just can’t.
A superb steak spot, I can't remember a time when I've had such a tender and tasty grand filet steak and the sides, mac & cheese, broccolini, brussel spouts were very good, although the yams could've been a tad sweeter, but everything else was wonderful! Crumpet devoured her lamb shank and had 3 of their special vanilla ice cream martinis (good thing I was driving) and Sarava loved her salmon. I had a mango-a-gogo drink that was so perfect and sweet. Even Sean the waiter was cheerful, very knowledgeable and topped off a great dinner experience. Expect to pay a pretty penny though, between the 3 of us I dropped almost $400 including tip. I would suggest that they include refillable drinks (sodas) and not charge for every subsequent drink after the first one, I had 2 cokes and they charged me $16 for those, wow...
Everything on the menu is so very good! The staff is helpful and attentive. I would recommend this place to everyone! It's a little on the expensive side but worth every penny. I can't wait to go again ❤️?
I had a great experience. good service great food waitresses was very knowledgeable about the menu. I would recommend going there.
