My goodness this place has some of the best corn I've ever had! Got the chicken sandwhich with the bodega fries.
Nice little spot for a quick meal. Good prices for the portion size. Outdoor seating. Overall could do with a little more flavor, and the spicy fried chicken could be a spicier.
It needs more FLAVOR! The chipotle sauce is good - the chicken batter needs more seasoning/flavor/taste and is at 80% for a taste visual imo? The fries are good, so is the corn along with the bun. Other than the simple menu, wholesome food and great prices it would’ve gotten a 5 for sure.
Food was really good. Made fresh after order which is great however prepare to wait a while. Would be 5 star if had slightly larger menu
This was my first time trying The Chicken Bodega. I really liked it. To me it tasted like the fried chicken sandwich and fries were air fried because neither were not greasy at all. Good portions, good price. I would have liked it if the spicy fried chicken sandwich was a little bit Spicer but over all good food.
I order the two legs, seasonal vegetables, and salad. The chicken was delicious, crispy skin and juicy on the inside. Broccoli had a lot of flavor and the salad was also good. My favorite place.
Friendly and welcoming when we first walked in. He asked us if it was our first time there and gave us a nice run down of what they have to offer. The food was 4 stars and the chicken was juicy. My suggestions are, the outside of the chicken could've been crispier and the spicy chicken was too mild. Not sure if they had hot sauce but i should've asked because it needed it.
So delicious!! I love the friend spicy chicken sandwich. Although you do have to wait a bit for your food, it’s totally worth it!
Have had almost everything here, sandwiches are bomb, legs are bomb, strips, corn, all great.With the exception for their fries, they are always hard. Not even in a good, crunchy (soft on the inside) way. Tastes like a thicker, maybe stale potato chip. Literally 5 stars (besides the fries). I will still eat here once a week though.
