Actually very decent stand alone Starbucks in Whittier. Parking is fine, drive through is well designed, they have a nice patio out front that is fully set up with umbrellas. Inside it was a narrow galley style walk through lay out, very busy with people including at least one homeless type who was sleeping.
Normally I don’t have any issues with this location or not enough of one to actually write a review but today was different. I had placed a mobile order at 4:40am and had expected my drinks to be ready since it was that early in the morning, the eta pick up time was 4:48am. However when I arrived none of the drinks were ready and had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my mobile order. I know probably sounds petty but I place mobile orders to save time.
Waited 18 minutes for my drink and still not ready. I had to cancel for I was already late to my daughters game. That time wasn’t within a reasonable time. It is a busy and big store for having only one bathroom also.The staff was friendly though.
Barista was too busy gossiping w other worker, messed up my order and told me I had to pay the difference.. all other batista have fixed my orders but she made me pay the difference bc she wasn't paying attn to the customer. .. been going here since they opened.. she was upset w me bc she messed up
Add +10 minutes to the in-app order process if you order from here. Ordered 3x week for 3 weeks. Consistently slow, in accurate and late for app orders.

Been coming to this place for about 2-3 years now on and off and I can honestly say it’s the best Starbucks in Whittier (in my opinion) the staff are great! (Even tho they still don’t know my name by now) but the seating is awesome and most of all big shout out to Diane who goes above and beyond everyday I see her… always has an amazing attitude and just the sweeties person you will ever meet… I like to come in here during the mornings when I don’t have work or after work and it’s just a good place to relax… especially if u get the comfy couch area ( I can be there for hours studying or just on my phone) I always get a ice coffee with extra cream and sugar and every time it comes out amazing… thank you for ur service Starbucks employees!
