I am so disappointed in the manner in which we were treated today by the owner. I understand they have a small dining area and it may take some time to be seated. That’s why we waited. We were told the wait would be 20 minutes. We had 3 adults and 3 children. At around 40 minutes my mom asked the owner how much longer it would be. He said “5 seconds maybe 9 seconds. YOU CAN LEAVE IF YOU WANT.” He was immediately defensive. My mom is 77 years old and did not deserve the why she was treated by the owner. So we walked over to ihop and was seated right way and spent less money.
BEST BREAKFAST IN WHITTIER! The staff is friendly and responsive to the customers' needs. The food comes out hot and it tastes delicious. I highly recommend this establishmen.Jeannie

Everything was great!! We were taken to a table right away.Received our drinks quickly.Waitress was great. She was very excited to help us on making our minds up on what to order. Loved it!!!
We had a group of 8 seated within 10 minutes for a Sunday brunch 10:30ish. A great assortment of food. Chicken friend steak, bisquits and gravy, chilliquilles, pancakes and the list keeps going. I never had to ask for coffee ☕?Our server was awesome.The speed of service, amazing flavor and their continuous cleaning made it a wonderful morning. We will be back!
If your looking for a great, home style breakfast from a cozy, family run business, this is the place. Standard breakfast fare...all good and a few mexican food options that are also good. Staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Very, very busy on weekends. Go really early, really late or prepare to wait. Not a good option for large parties...its a small shop.
Monster portions!New locale I had never visited. Ordered Ham steak with eggs and potatoes, and a Pumpkin Spice waffle.Pics should show you all you need to know. Ham steak was great, totally took 75% home so take that into consideration or bring a monster appetite.Waffle sounded appetizing, I was left a bit underwhelmed but that may just be my pallette. Not a knock on the waffle at all.Service was quick and friendly. Seating is a bit limited with an average wait of about 20 mins + -Overall, I will definitely consider a second visit primarily because they have an extensive menu with some interesting sounding menu items (i.e. Chili Cheese Hamburger ? and Super sized steaks)Prices are a bit higher than expected but I understand relative to portions.Enjoy!

This was my first visit to Scotty's. Met up with some friends for breakfast. I was not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. I had the tri-tip chilaquiles platter and the portion was very hearty and delicious. Everything on the menu sounded good. I can't wait for our Meetup next month looking forward to trying something on the lunch menu.
