Classic 50s style vibe and menu. Every Friday evening, starting the first Friday in May through October, there will be a classic car show in the parking lot. Don't miss the first show, or the finale the last Friday in October. Hotrods, classics, customs, lowriders, and all the southern California car show vibe.
Ruby's, 1940's, Diner is pure comfort and good food! We enjoy dining here whenever we get the opportunity and highly recommend it to others.

We love Ruby's Diner! Whittier Ruby's still makes Shrimp Tacos, which is hubby's favorite. And they have the best Chinese Chicken Salad w/FF sesame ginger dressing!!

SERVICE A BIT SLOW BUT FOOD IS VERY GOOD
Delicious food and always friendly staff! Another one of my favorite local spots. I usually get their super burger (man my mouth watered just thinking of it) this time though i got their ranch burger. My boyfriend got the sea food plate and we got calamari for an appetizer. And of course i always get a strawberry malt to go (didnt take a picture). Next time i get the super burger ill update this review.
It took a little longer for our dining experience here, but it was expected due to the pandemic. The restaurant even had signs posted for the inconvenience due to short of staff. The manager even apologized for it. Then the food came and was hot and tasted very good. My wife and our grandkids enjoyed ourselves. Will return.
Good breakfast, friendly service. It's our new place to have breakfast every weekend ??
