Horrible employees don't use gloves to handle food cook has mask but only covering his chin front employees rude never have forks or spoons 3er time I go they always in a bad mood this a massage for supervisors and manager retrain your people ugly service the 3 times I visited 3 times I got sick im going to report this to health department
Went to Popeyes and ordered the 5 tender combo and got this joke of a meal!!! Only 3 tenders a few fries in a small tray, back in the days it used to be a box with appropriate amount of tenders and fries, literally just got the scraps of whatever was left over. Got charged for something I didn’t get! Now I use to be a worker here back in the days when this location first opened and slowly started seeing the downfall of this location when I left cause of things like this and other questionable things I won’t mention. But this Popeyes is nothing but a joke and will continue to be nothing but bad as time goes on unless they change there ways which they never had still for already 6 years. Great location for Popeyes, but what good is it when you don’t do good. Avoid this location, go to Canes instead.
I came over here cause I was near by and the newer Pico Rivera location always has a line and super busy. There was no body here. Only like one or two people in the driver thru. Seem to take a very long time with orders. Except for me order was ready quickly. Inside was deserted at first the place appeared clean then when I sat down I noticed tables haven’t been cleaned in what appears to be most of the day. It was slow and there was a lot of people behind the counter. No one could come out and wipe down tables. Also restrooms were closed. I was told due to flooding. That could be true or it could be because no one wanted to clean them up. One of the hot sauce packets I got was sticky with something. They were all out of dipping sauces except 2 less popular flavors. Another customer who I guess was waiting outside for his drive thru order walked in and kinda angrily asked where his order was. What I could tell is staff and management either need better training or replacement. Doesn’t seem like things were well orchestrated.
The food was not good at all. I went all the way to Whittier hoping to get a good meal. I could have went to the closest Popeye's for horrible chicken. It is hard to find a Popeye's with good chicken. This is so disappointing. I got a 8 pc meal and I got 1 breast, 3 thighs, 3 wings and 1 leg. The beans and rice were like watered-down. The biscuits were hard. I went at around 10:30 am. You would think that everything would be fresh. Tasted like yesterday's leftovers. I will have to find another fried chicken spot.
There's nothing bad to say about Popeye's Chicken but one thing I know for sure for my survey of asking hundreds of people about the prices for chicken that have skyrocketed immensely. That's why I think there should be a little bit more specials for the people who are having trouble with the pandemic prices right now and chicken should go down. Stars are hard to come by and one is for specials and another one is for pricing and value. Just enjoyed a Tuesday two piece special for $2.99 UPDATE ONE MORE STAR. I'm sure people love this place because there was a huge line but I bought the 24 piece nuggets & they were super greasy.
Customer service always good here. Food just ok. It's fast food, It's exactly what you think it is.
Terrible drive thru wait time, even worse customer service. Bad attitudes... Go to another Popeyes. This one sucks!
I think it could have been amazing. Follow my story so you can understand my disappointment. I went there on Tuesday at about 3:30. The dining room was closed and I had to use the drive thru. No one was ahead of me so a quick chicken sandwich order and I immediately pull up and hand the girl a $20. Here is where my disappointment comes in, before she can give me change I'm handed my order. So I got under a heat lamp chicken sandwich. Never had a Popeyes chicken sandwich before. It was large and looked good. Even being under a heat lamp it wasn't bad, but my wasn't bad is comparing to over heat lamp fast food spots. I can only imagine how much better it could have been if made fresh. For now I will pass on Popeyes drive thru and only go back if I can order it at the counter and confirm they will make it fresh.
Deliciously cooked. Missing a few chicken nuggets and utensils but the flavor made it all worth it.
