I’ve never been to any Mimi’s Cafe. Unfortunately my first experience didn’t go so well. I understand that we were a group of 20 people, however we reserved in advance.The area where we were seated was warm(slightly hot at times). The waitress did their best she could and I appreciated her efforts. The dish was appetizing and the atmosphere was nice.I would think twice in coming back though, it’s a good restaurant and has potential, but needs work.(Sorry I didn’t have any pictures to load, It was a graduation dinner).
Bad food experience today.The young gentleman who served me was very good, but the Salmon dinner, it was a 4 out of 10, compared to the last time I was Mimi's, and had the same dish, it was like night and day, regarding the quality of the dinner.I had just arrived back in the area from San Diego, and at the last minute, I decided to enjoy a good dinner at Mimi's, and sorry to say, it was only edible at a low point, and thewater had a funny taste. I was tired and just wanted to eat and go home.I'm not being a knucklehead, it is exactly how the food was.I told the server it's not his fault, and gave him his tip and left.
Love the Florentine benedict. Mimi mosa was tasty too! Love eating out on the patio under the umbrellas
First time here and most likely the last time as well.There were only two things that made mimis ok, the staff was great, and the breakfast sausages that were the size of Cuban cigars.The bad would have to be the food and coffeeCoffee tasting like it's a day old. The food looking very nice but the portion size compared to the price was so sad, you'd get a more filling meal at a mom n pop shop for the same if not cheaper price.My eggs came out cold and looked like they have been sitting out all day. The pancakes were both dry and well stale. They seemed to look like McDonald's type of pancakes but hard, they looked like they were made in a big bunch and was thrown into a warming tray waiting to be ordered.
Great place to have lunch! The special on mimosas was well worth the 5 bucks and the food was delicious. I had the English Muffin with smoked salmon, egg, gravy and capers. It was nice enjoying the cool summer breeze while enjoying our lunch. Thank you Mimi's Cafe
Ordered a club sandwich delicious..my daughter took my husband and I there. We love this place anyway club sandwich was so good with turkey avocado tomato you get the jist. With fries so much got full right away and brought the rest home for later.
Mimi's used to have delicious muffins with their meals, and now they're down to about 3 or 4 choices. They also used to give you a muffin with your quiche, but now you have to pay for it. I still go there, but the one dish I loved with the steak with pommes frites (French fries) and they don't have it anymore.
THE best restaurant in whittier by far. Amazing service and helpful staff. Great food selection all so yummy. Slay❣️

The food is absolutely delicious!The shrimp pasta was amazing and the service was amazing.Presentation is always perfect. We are always greeted amazingly and can't wait to go again.Our waiter Sergio was lovely and attended us the way we needed.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
