Came in on a Sunday at noon. Place was filled with patrons n people waiting outside. A sure sign that this place was good. We were seated and invited to serve ourselves. Great array of foods including omelets, pancakes, ceviche, green Chile, Chile Verde, rice, beans chicken fajitas. Salads and fruits and pan dulce.. wow. Micheladas n margaritas are served. Don't forget the flan and rice pudding. Yummmy
The service is always great and the food is delicious ? I've come here for Sunday brunch (great food and bottomless mimosas) as well as dinner. I've never been disappointed. The staff are always smiling, always provide excellent service, and seem to genuinely love their jobs. I come here often and have brought both family and friends along, who also fell in love.
We were on the list & were waiting outside, we checkered in with the waiter & went back outside, then started noticing others arriving after us were being seated (we only had 3 people). Went and checked again and it was like.. Ohhh. Yeah.. Your table is coming up, but there were empty tables everywhere. (the waiter flaked & forgot us) unfortunately. Our service didn't get any better. They were out of steak fajitas (on fajitas night) and it took forever for the food, even forgetting the tortillas with the albondigas soup..Everytime I come to whittier we come to this place and it's always been great until now... Don't know if it was just a one off, but, when they're bad, they are take bad
This place is great. Amazing food. A little pricey, but definitely worth it.
Visitor from NY. I went to this place twice (Sunday for brunch/nfl football and the following taco Tuesday). Service was decent. Food was overpriced and not authentic. Mango Margarita I had barely had alcohol in it. The last straw for me was when they up-charged the tip (my friend paid for the brunch and they up-charged the tip from 20% to 30% while I paid for taco Tuesday and they up-charged the tip from 10% to 20%). While neither my friend nor I would call to dispute these menial charges, it’s about the principle. I will not be returning. As for those who stumble upon this review, bring cash. That’s all I got.
Even though we had to wait due to them being understaffed, it was worth every minute of it! The food was amazing and so fresh.
Excellent Sunday Brunch. Hopefully they'll have regular coffee next time but other than that definitely worth checking out.
First off we drove a ways to get there. Ordered carne asada which was so, so(it's meat). My husband ordered fajitas beef and chicken and it was horrible! The vegetables where raw and the chicken tasted like wood!! Dry as California weather goes...very disappointed as you can imagine.
Very good food fun atmosphere good service.
Server was amazing, food was not good no flavor other workers not wearing mask.
