The word of today is communication. This place has the worst service especially on weekends when it's crowded. Then you have the communication from the kitchen to the waitress. This isn't about the waitress because she was obviously overworked handling many tables with no help. The manager who was just standing around could have jumped in and helped her team but she just stood and work the order for the kitchen while the staff had to run ragged. As a retail manager myself I would have been taking orders and cleaning tables. It's all about teamwork. We finally got our food after about a 35 minute wait that is completely unacceptable for a full service restaurant especially a national chain restaurant like iHop.

All you can eat Pancakes....Only if they serve you ... Lucky to get refills on drinks...You Know your in trouble when the receipt still wishes you happy holidays...

The worst service ever! Their just like Norms restaurants! We were seated, then it took 15 min for us to ask for our waitress, 2 other couples got seated way after us, and was acknowledged and served within 5min! I will never go there again and they charged $6.79 for milkshake!!! Really!!! Outrageous! 1/2/22 Whittier location
Actually very surprised and delighted with their classic hamburger. Otherwise the fairs just about the same as it always has been. Now I like IHOP for hamburgers.
Tried calling to ask about wait times. Called 3 times and the person on the other end picked it up and hung it up

Went to have breakfast & ordered off the 55 & over menu. 1st time using Senior rates?. Staff was nice & restaurant was clean...then it took 50 minutes for our food to come out, which it never came out. We complained at 35 minutes when one waitress said it's coming out now. Then another 10 minutes when by- we decided to leave. By that time we excused ourselves, told the manager & the waitress was chasing us out the door to say our food is ready. Sorry, not sorry. That urgency should have been communicated at 15 minutes into our wait time!!!
