This review is for the Lakewood & Florence location. ?Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Born & raised here in So. California and I've been wanting to try this place. We finally got to go and, boy! Why did I wait too long?My Mom and I had the butterfly shrimp with fries (wished I would have gotten the loaded baked potato! Next time I will!), and the salad.Gramma got the same thing, but instead of fries, Gramma got the loaded baked potato. My Cousin David got the beef spare rib and pork rib, and the pork beans. All plates came with a crusty, light & crispy, delicious garlic bread! All was enjoyed immensely, the food arrived hot and delicious. The ribs just fell off the bone, our shrimp was crispy and really wonderful! Looking forward to going back!
If your looking for a good BBQ place check out Chris N Pitts, the one in Whittier gets pretty busy so go early or expect a wait. The Beef rib plate is my usual, but today I had the rib special which had the three types of ribs with a salad and French Fry’s. I think the baby backs were very tasty so maybe my new go to will be that plate. My server Anthony was friendly and attentive, but the lady across the isle had a different expectancy’s, her food was delivered late without any silverware and the stake she ordered was so tough, I watched her saw at it for at least a minute straight before giving up and sending it back. This is the first time that I’ve been here seeing this type of experience so I was a bit surprised.I will definitely be back for those baby backs….
I can't believe it's still there. Thank God for that if you want good tasting barbecue ribs or rib tips Chris and Pitt's is the bomb. Very nice and old school and country style at its best. Very clean and covered free. The staff is very courteous and helpful including the host and cashier. Even the manager Noami was so sweet, thank you for the app. Well viewers I invite you to bring the family or a friend. Sincerely Jesus Banda's honest reviews.
Quantity is not always better than quality. I believed it was gonna be a good experience and good food because of the reviews but, unfortunately I was disappointed. I thought my total was gonna be around 65 but, when I got the bill it came out to be more than I thought (based on the menu price). I have no problem with paying for what I ordered this but, I was never told about any extra charge for some bland potato or whatever else cost extra. The waiter told me it was included in what I ordered. To add insult to my experience there was no brisket on the menu. I shouldve never cheated on my go-to barbecue spot. ? Does anyone else’s stomach get upset after eating here?
The waitress was pretty good except she brought out more plates then she could handle and instead of walking around the table handing out plates she asked one of our party to grab a plate from across the table and the food was not that great at all then they don’t tell you Before you order that they AUTOMATICALLY give THEMSELVES there own GRATUITY for a party of 6 or more also the price of the food is OUTRAGEOUS for such a low quality place
Onion rings was my favorite with Hawaiian sauce. The sauce has changed is not the same and onion rings has raw batter but the older waitress Judy was super awsoom and nice 10 rings for 8.95 plus tax so get the idea is not cheap any more
I have been going to Chris and Pitts for 40 years. Love the ribs, Texas style BBQ beef and baseball top. Also love there blue cheese dressing. Has its own unique flavor from other BBQ restaurants. Service was good. Prices have gone up. My wife and I split a meal...
Foods the same as it was 30 years ago and that amazing! Delicious! Bread and potatoes have shrunk in size over that time However. Beef ribs are the best!
I live 45 miles away and was in the neighborhood so I decided to stop by. Made our purchase and went home, food was good but they left out the salads. No big deal, but the next day I saw that I was over charged. The bill was$59 but my bank account was changed$72. Call to talk to a manager ,was given the run around and was told that it was my banks fault.
Chris and Pitt's have the best barbecue spare ribs that I have ever tasted. From all these years I've never had a bad meal.
