Very nice local diner with a diverse menu. Loved our breakfast and particularly found the service to be excellent.Best orange juice ever ! Freshly pressed with great oranges.Can’t wait to try lunch or dinner.
Had dinner here this evening.drove in from Riverside, CA to celebrate my brothers birthday asked where he wanted to go and he said Uncle Pete’s Cafe. We were a party of 6 and were seated right away. Food was delicious and prices were reasonable. Told my brother I would be back want to try their breakfast menu. Friendly staff and really glad we went.
Chicken Breast Croissant was delicious. Juicy chicken, crisp bacon and plenty of avocado! Impressed! Atmosphere is relaxing and quaint.
I eat often times at this Cafe. Sometimes the service isn't that great. Thry don't keep on top of refilling my drinks. This time they were very good and the food came very quickly. Within five minutes I had my food an entire breakfast meal. The food was great.
Very clean, we were greeted as soon as we came in. Has nice outdoor dining, good indoor dining. The tvs were muted (yay) so conversation was easy. Food was good, large selection of items. Service was a bit slow, but we will be back.
Nice and relaxed cafe! The fish sandwich was sooo good. I like how the 2 fish pieces are fried and really crispy. It wasn't soggy at all! Country fried steak was a bit thin but the gravy was delicious.
Good old fashioned comfort food at very reasonable prices. I wish they had better soups and better desserts. Their lights are much too bright in the evening. It is unfortunate that there is never an owner or management there. I wish Orange County had more of these Greek diners and that they had late night dining. Newport area really needs one!
Left our hotel in Anaheim looking for some good brunch place away from the parks. Was not disappointed. The food was delicious (avocado toast, breakfast burrito, ham steak, and chicken-fried steak were the dishes ordered.) The staff are friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is upscale "greasy spoon." The bathrooms are clean and hot water immediately from the faucets. Would recommend. Would eat again.
Waiter was very attentive and visited many times to check on our drinks. We had two of their specials.steak and ribs. Both were tender and delicious. We ate outside.
Nice place for lunch. The staff is very friendly and make sure you're taken care of. Every meal I've had was delicious and well made. My favorite is the pancake breakfast, the pancakes there are excellent!
