Boy, where to start with this review. I can’t believe this spot opened up next to another popular location I go to and I never realized it was there until today!I came back from Vietnam and I had wanted to treat out my family since it’s been a while. I decided to check out places that sold steak. Ironically, instead of the usual American places known for their meats. This Japanese spot came up on the search and colored me intrigued!I decided to tell my uncle and we came here! From the look of the pictures, the portions had looked rather small. I. Was. So. Wrong. The portions were big! We ordered two hot pots which was more than enough to feed 5 people along with two top sirloin and some noodles dishes too. Luckily our table had 6 very hungry people, despite feeding everyone til they were stuffed, we still had leftovers! On top of that everything was so good! This place is one of those places that you’ll talk until the food comes and everyone just quiets down to focus on eating! THATS how good it is! Better yet, the bill averaged out to only about $15 a person, which was nice cuz I ended up giving extra tip for their fantastic service!
Customer service can make or break you.Food was good. Customer service was... less than that. One server would say something then the next would completely contradict it.If you can't do substitutions, then make sure your entire staff is on the same page.
My boyfriend and I went here and we used the Yelp waitlist to get on the list remotely. The waitlist went by very fast and got a table within 40 minutes of the waitlist. We were 12th in line. When we got seated, the servers were fast and looked overwhelmed. Nonetheless, they got our ordered out quickly. We ordered the house special hot pot and the Japanese miso and for drinks we ordered Oolong tea milk tea and lychee fruit tea. They ran out of regular boba, so we ordered it with crystal boba.In terms of hotpot, the broth was delicious and the right amount of food. The meat was a bit overcooked and dusty. If the broth gets too hot, you can always ask the server to turn off your heat for you. The boba was a little too sweet for me, next time, I will ask for it to be less sweet. My boyfriend drink was the perfect amount of sweetness. The boba tasted fine and the drinks didn’t feel too heavy. The service seems to be rushed, but it was fine for us. We like to be in and out quickly.
Honest review So far my experience for ordering delivery , Drinks are ? don't get me wrong . The steak needs some work got two steaks day after another. Both seemed raw best suggestion is to add options how well you want the steak cooked. Still need to come in to dine in . Been there in person seems they're always busy. As for the Ramen selections I chose one but I wasn't sure if it came with the stuff listed . Reason I doubted due to first time ordering the steak it read comes with two sides and plenty are listed but not as a selection . Seems you have to type it in . Place looks fire have to experience the hot steak on the slab as being there for a pick up I heard sizzling left and right . Could be my experience . Hope to seeing you guys Saturday review will be updated .. Not offending no one as it's my opinion and I know this place can do so much more and better . Keep up the hard work
Good bang for your buck and decent sized meals. However the quality of the ingredients seems to be how they achieve their lower prices.
Ive eaten here at least 5 times already and i have to say you cannot go wrong with any hotpot items or the steak. Excellent experience every time. One quick tip tho, dont let the hotpot cook for more than 15mins at the table. Ask the server to put it out partway into your meal as its the main reason you soup is too salty.
I ordered 3 items, Vietnamese crepe it super soft, no crunchyness at all. Miso Ramen, the soup is salty. My daughter said "this is the most salty ramen i have ever eaten." And the Thai hot pot, it SUPER SALTY, my husband kept spitting out the food in that hot pot. And for me my cholesterol just went up after i slurped some spoon soup. How do i know bcuz i feel dizzy & my tounge felt thick with the heavy salt they poured in the soup or the MSG. I'm sorry but the food is not good and not worth coming back.P.S. had diarrhea a few times when i barely got home.
Fantastic experience! Food was great! Atmosphere was warm and feeds around 4 people for less then 60$
Clean atmosphere. Well spaced. Reasonable prices with good portion. Excellent services and all the workers were wearing masks.Food is decent. I had better at similar places. I had korean kimchi pot with super flaming flavor. I have high tolerance so it wasn't that spicy for me
Honestly, don't even bother with this place.Just go to Panda Express if you want better tasting food.Ordered the Vietnamese Crepe, Crispy Seafood balls, and the Garlic Shrimp noodles.I gotta say that all ingredients were definitely frozen prior to being "re-heated"Crispy Seafood Balls: not crispy, actually u derailed and soft at the centerGarlic Shrimp Noodles: overcooked frozen shrimp 7 pieces to be exact and lightly covered in some sweet sauce, which were placed on boiled egg noodles that were also lightly drizzled with some soy sauce for color. Yes, the shrimp in not cooked with the noodles. And then the garnish of lettuce and tomato slices covered in some watered down sweet dressing.Vietnamese Crepe: batter was sweet like pancake batter, sauce is also too sweet, didn't even bother peeling the 5 pieces shrimp all the way.How would I summarize my meal?A sad attempt at cooking asian dishes. It also reminded me of cafeteria food.
