Great place for an after work happy hour with colleagues. Service is great. They do not rush you. Food and drink menu is good for this on the water restaurant. Atmosphere on the patio is great

The ambience at Zen's can't be beat in the entire Conejo Valey. We experienced a spectacular sunset over the lake. The food is always excellent. However, the service was not so excellent. Our server was very slow to take our orders. This was probably due to the crowd; every table was occupied. The live band was extremely loud. You couldn't carry on any conversation without shouting when inside. However, the patio was not affected.

We had requested waterfront seating on our reservation and they wanted to seat us in a high top or in the walkway although they had multiple tables open , the host was being yelled at by the floor manager right in front of us before we got seated and that was unprofessional Will NOT come here again Kind of wonder if there was racism in seating people waterfront, noticed that since we were mixed race All the white people occupying the prime waterfront location was very obvious Very disappointed!!

Our server Trinity was awesome. Our meals were delicious. The view was fantastic. It was the middle of the day on a Thursday, so no crowds at all!
