I had the Lunch A combo (2 fish, 2 zucchini with fries), zucchini was good, nice crisp and cook. Fish was alright, kind of heavy on the batter and a little over cooked. Worst part of the experience was the tartar sauce. It was basically flavorless but way to sweet at the same time. I actually went to Albertsons to grab a decent tartar to eat my meal.
It's a 4 to 4+. I'd absolutely say to hit it if you're looking for battered seafood and supreme chowder.New England clam chowder was fantastic! Wouldn't have changed anything there. A 5.We ordered the A and B and a side of oysters.The fish, shrimp, scallops and oysters were all TOP notch. One could quibble over some seasoning details, using a beer batter and 'heaviness' of the batter but the reality is they were all great! Very little room to improve.The fries or 'chips' had a lot of room to improve. Clearly tasted like some frozen fries bought in bulk. I'd give them a 2.The cold slaw was ok. A 3 to a 4.With some hand cut / made fries and some tweaks to the slaw I think this place would be a 5 and a hidden gem!Other factors I don't take into ranking I'm a strictly good ranker:-Service was good, even great. Attentive, quick and fulfilled all requests with a great attitude. 4+-The atmosphere was really clean, well spaced, nice outdoor space too considering it's in a strip mall. 4+ to a 5 for the space it's in.
Fish and chips are fabulous. Also love the perfectly fried zucchini, thank you for having this item on your menu!

Love this place. Met my sister in law there for lunch as she had not been before and she loved it. Casual place with great seafood, nicely prepared not greasy or heavy, eat there or take away. GO!!

You either like fish and chips or you don't. I thought this place is pretty good. The hush puppies are a little on the small side and a little more dense than I like, but the fish and fries were great. Fast, friendly service
I like their popcorn shrimp basket. Their fried fish is great too.
Awful, ripoff. Caveat: Patronized the place since 2015, food and staff always very good. Last visit was told by the owner he hadn't received his usual filets so was serving a substitute. The usual filets are 3/4 cod and maybe 1/4 fried batter - the substitute filets were pretty much the inverse. The owner had the moxie to advise that the substitutes (may) actually "be better." And he had raised his prices (again). As a consumer, you're always satisfied when you pay more and get less, right? Oh well, maybe just a sign of the times.
