I had the flank strak and eggs with a great friend. I felt satisfied all day. Great food, great service. If you haven't been here before, you're missing out.

Excellent food! We sat at a table near the line (kitchen line) and I listened to who u presume was the owner. You can tell she really cares about each plate going out, something I’ve seen in the best restaurants I’ve worked in. She checked each one and would send back to correct something if needed before the customer received it. She was excellent! The food was excellent! We were visiting from out of town and I would come again and again if I could. The restaurant was also VERY clean. And for parents: it’s a little small inside but our stroller was still able to fit next to our table with our newborn inside, I felt a little embarrassed how big it was and the owner (I assume) even said, oh no, it’s so much easier to use the stroller, I did with my kids. So I felt welcomed as a parent too! My kiddo LOVED their ricotta pancake.

Pro's: Good, fresh, hand made food. Few good breakfast options in and around TO.Con's:The prices are absurdly high for what you receive. $5.25 for a regular cup of coffee. Yes, they are charging prices you don't see in NYC, London and Paris for coffee in Westlake. No milk just water and coffee grinds. There is no excuse for this kind of price increase other than gouging the customer for an item known for high margins this is embarrassingly high. $17 for huevos rancheros, $16 for breakfast tacos that are scant with substance. We just returned from Rancho Mirage and the prices are the same, at least in the desert my food was brought to my room with impeccable service.Get ready to be forced to pay a 15% service fee to simply have your food brought to you, not to be waited on. The first few months they added this fee they did not disclose it to customers transparently, unethical to say the least though my attorney had a few other choice words for it. I have receipts that show it as a secondary line under taxes after I had already tipped, I didn't understand why the total was not adding up until I brought this to the attention of the check-out person and he said "yea I know, I don't know why management is not telling customers about this." There is finally a sign at check-out but no option to opt out of this if you want to, most high end restaurants you are at least given the option to not pay this extra fee. You would think for the increases in their food and coffee pricing over the past 18 months they would be able to pay their people a living wage, instead they continue to pass the buck to their customers. The food as good as it is can be very inconsistent which really is unacceptable for the price point. I cannot imagine taking a family here for breakfast, for a couple it is close to $60 for two food items and two coffees. After supporting this place since it started it's time to move on, pun intended I can no longer stomach the prices for what you get.

I will start off with the positive. The food is good. They have some tasty options that aren't just the same run of the mill breakfast fare.Ok, now let's talk about the issues. First off, the prices are extremely high, even for the times. Add to that the fact that they charge a "service fee" for online order and pickup....really? Shouldn't it be less work for them to just receive a pickup order? The other major issue is that they don't have their stuff together. We placed a to-go order on their website and arrived at the "pickup" time 40 minutes later. We announced our arrival and then we waited for 30 minutes before finding out that they hadn't even started the order. This was 1.25 hours after placing the order! Not to mention we only found out about this huge mistake after overhearing a panicked employee admitting it to her coworker. Then, instead of making it right, they just canceled and refunded the order and we were left with two hungry kids. So poorly managed.

Constant errors. Entire omitted items. Overpaying $10+ only for them to get the order wrong. Completely omitted drink and salad this last time, and forgot the tomato on the sandwich. Phone line disconnected, can’t even get a refund. Lowest quality control I’ve ever seen and no customer support of any kind. When a sandwich, a drink, and a biscuit costs $70, you expect the order to at least be correct. Don’t waste your time or money here. Food is good and local but there is such nonexistent quality control you’re pretty much gambling.

I mean, if you’re looking to pay top dollar for bunny food and a raw pancake then this is the place. I sent the pancake back and was given another raw, smaller one in its place. The server seemed happy to bring it though as if he had actually helped me in some way. So there’s that.Maybe don’t charge so much or consider not allowing the cook to cook unsupervised when you know the staff is not properly trained. Multiple reviews state raw food being served. Quality control is not a lot to ask when you are charging so much.

This place is ABSURDLY delicious. My daughter and I walk here every Saturday because it's worth it. It's a scratch kitchen and every dish I've had is better than my previous favorite. Currently, I am loving the keto bowl and my daughter religiously gets the Royal Benedict. The french toast is stupid good and literally ALL of the hot drinks are next level: the London Fog, Rooibos Latte, Matcha Latte...out of this world. Also, the fresh hot cinnamon bun and bread pudding will have you in tears. Finally the staff are lovely and clearly enjoy working here. No tips, the owners add a 15% surcharge to make sure their employees get health insurance. We are so lucky to be locals to this special place.

Delicious food, super friendly service, great environment — this place is such a gem. I come here every Monday after dropping my daughter off at school. It’s my weekly date with myself.

Loved the style of the venue. Lots of tables. Great outside seating as well. Food was excellent. Had the Royal Benedict and it was amazing.

Love this place cause of their food and service!
