A good selection of desserts house made. Good spot to grab a lunch.Anything spicy is not overly spicy (Coming from a Texan pallette), and I'd equate it more to a taco bell mild sauce kind of spicy.I had a "spicy" sandwich (forget the exact name), an espresso, and dessert. Everything was tasty.
Family wanted to try a new place to dine, and came across Novo on OpenTable. Very impressed with the Staff, who were kind and helpful; even gave us a few laughs. The menu options were also plentiful, in spite of one of them being Sold-Out. But their Special that day made the difference.
Good food and drinks. Cheaper than most places.

Stumbled upon this jewel of a restaurant by accident - simply needed a place to pass the time while waiting for a reservation. They definitely deserve more customers than they have. My wife said the service provided by Alex was the best she's had in California. Happy hour 4-6pm with excellent $7-9 dishes and half price cocktails, beers, and wines...and they are GENEROUS with the booze! Was so good, we intentionally stayed long after Happy Hour to enjoy the service, food, and drinks.
Enjoyed a lovely birthday dinner on the patio on a Tuesday night. Service was outstanding. Food was very good but the sauces were too salty for our taste. The waiter offered to have them remade but we chose not to. Next time will request low salt but will definitely go again.
Everything was great! We were seated outside on the patio. Service was fast with friendly waiters. Food was amazing. We even got dessert; they have a great selection!

Novo Cafe is a nice relaxing place to eat. We had Sunday Evening Dinner. A few people in our party had the sea bass on checca, one of the specials for that evening, they both enjoyed it thoroughly. The gnocchi is really good. I bring different people back to this restaurant every time I go. The halibut was good with their artichoke sauce. Every dish is amazing.
We had a group of 8 people and I think most were happy with the meal. I enjoyed the spicy sausage pasta, the chicken parmesan looked very good however my wife ordered the sea bass special. She was very unhappy with it. I tried it and it was just average. I ordered a side of broccoli and while nothing special it was a good size, and I was also happy with it. The service was very good, and the food came out from the kitchen very quickly considering everyone seemed to order something different. I certainly would give Novo another chance.
