Came in here specifically for the oysters. They're great, fresh. The people at the Oyster Bar are definitely helpful in helping you decide which to choose.I do love their main bar area. It's a huge Square which engulfs the center of the restaurant. For a happy hour scene, this place is "okay," but wish they had better happy hour specials and pricing. Fish tends to be expensive, so keep that in mind.If the management of this chain can work on a better Happy Hour menu, with both food and beverage specials, I'd be willing to revisit, and reassess to possibly five stars. The layout in here is really clean and tidy. You definitely feel like you're walking into a classy place, not some discombobulated Seafood Broiler, if you remember those from back in the day.Depending on the day, and time of day, parking can be really easy, or pain in the neck. Usually the parking lot is packed because of the hotel right next door, and other places within feet.

I had the best experience of my life at the lure. It was my first time eating there, and I am planning on coming back many times. I was seated by this very nice and kind lady named Lainey. My waiter was named Ryan and he helped us so much with very speedy service. I ordered the pasta and it was so delightful, I was spinning in my chair. Words can’t describe how delicious my food was. On top of that, everyone was so kind, which made my experience through the roof. I highly recommend eating here it was amazing!!

Absolutely delicious and the staff was super friendly! We ordered ceviche to start and for entrees we had the whole grilled branzino and the Seabass. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the Seabass was slightly over cooked which made it a little tougher for such a delicate fish. The branzino was cooked perfectly and the side of pineapple coleslaw went well with it.

Had dinner w/ friends birthday. Clean, good friendly service, and good food.

The service was extremely friendly, and the food was good. Expect the prices to be a little on the higher side (my salad was $16). Complimentary bread and butter, and you can ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar. There are about 4 vegetarian dishes (3 are salads) as far as I'm aware.

The first time I had Lure fish house was in Santa Barbara, and it left me with a good first impression! And the Westlake village location did not disappoint as well. Also, I am really impressed by the service here. A big shout out to our server Matthew, who was not only attentive and accommodating, but also very thoughtful and sweet! As for the food, all pretty good! I honestly enjoyed their lobster and crab ravioli, it was creamy with a good amount of seafood. I still can taste some bigger pieces of crab and lobster, that was really a good dish. They don't really have a wide selection of oysters to choose from, basically only 2 options: Fanny bay & Eastern oysters (yeah they didn't really tell us which kind). I enjoyed them both but I liked the Eastern collections better. They were slightly briny & sweet, smooth with a very good ocean aftertaste! Great fresh oysters. We also ordered the crispy fish sandwich and the veracruz fish chowder, both were also very good.Good atmosphere and great overall flavors!

Enjoyed a wonderful seafood meal outside with heat lamps. Meal was well prepared with good service by staff.

Not good. Sand dabs had no flavor and the texture was off. Waitress was not attentive. Won't be back. $111.00 down the drain.

We arrived for a stay at the nearby Residence Inn road-weary and hungry. The Lure Fish House looked like a great place to get a nice meal. It had an inviting appearance and was busy. So busy that we had to wait 40 minutes to be seated, understandable on night with crowds. After we were seated we waited 12 minutes for our server to appear to inquire about drinks. Her first words were "we're sorry, but we are out of bread." Apparently a basket of bread is usually delivered. We said, OK, and asked for water and a lemonade, and since we had studied the menu while waiting for our table, we ordered our entrees, Shrimp Brochette ($25) with pineapple cole slaw and parmesan potato as sides and Rockfish Veracruz, which came with beans rice and avocado, and she disappeared. Since we had given my phone number to be notified when our table was ready, 15 minutes after being seated I got a text asking if everything was going OK. I responded "no" to the text, because of the long wait. In a couple of minutes a manager appeared, and inquired about my response. I started to explain my dissatisfaction at the long wait for drinks, and being told that there was no bread basket. Just then the server returned to with two glasses of water, saying that they were out of lemonade. I pointed this additional negative experience to the manager. She said sorry and that she would try to expedite our entrees and retreated. A few minutes later, a server brought our entrees. We were very hungry by now, but not so much as to forgive what was presented to us. My wife's meal was total disaster: the shrimp were slightly overcooked and therefore chewy, arrived lukewarm, not hot, and were tasteless. The cabbage of the coleslaw was tough, like it had been allowed to dry out, and the pineapple flavoring was obviously from a can, not fresh, and had a tinny taste, like it sat in the can too long. The potato cake was simply a patty of refried mashed potatoes, burned on the bottom. I have to say the my rockfish was delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked, served hot. The beans and rice that came with it were unremarkable. In the meantime, we noticed that the recently arrived guests across the aisle were presented a bread basket soon after being seated. The server said that that the manager wanted to give us a free desert because there was no bread basket and no lemonade. After finishing our meal, we ordered the blueberry cobbler, which was tasty. We signaled that we were ready for the check. When the check arrived it included $4.50 for the lemonade $9 for desert! I protested to the server and she returned with another check with those charges reversed. We were highly disappointed with the meal and management. The server herself did the best she could. The place looked promising, but it did no deliver a quality dining experience for us.

Everything was fantastic! Bartender recommended an excellent red wine, and all the food was beyond amazing. Great date night!
