I have been to sushi restaurants all around the world and they know how to do sushi correctly. There is an art to excellent sushi that includes presentation, freshness and quality. I will be back exclusively to this restaurant for sushi in Southern California.
Came here for our early valentines dinner and had to write a review as soon as I got back to the car. This place is PHENOMENAL. The sushi is of such high quality and the service is top tier. Thanks to it being super bowl sunday the restaurant was quieter and we were able to chat with some of the sushi chefs. Ken, Yohan and Made, made our night 10x better. Such good conversations and excellent service. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We will be back!
Best sushi ever. Teddy and his staff treat their customers like family. E+mon has the freshest sushi. Try the nigiri, sashimi or one of their fabulous rolls today.
This place used to have 5 stars in my opinion, but recently the Main Chef Rocky left back to Japan and wow has this place gone downhill. The service is still great, but the quality is lacking unfortunately. Was served a Seared Wagyu Sushi that was inedible (literally unable to chew the meat because it was so tough). The rest of the sushi was fresh, but generally flavorless (Rocky used to season everything to perfection). Rocky used to do an amazing omakase, now they won't do it and charge an extra $2 for ordering anything off menu. (Kind of chintzy for a $300+ sushi bill). I hope they can turn things around since this used to be my favorite sushi place in the area.

What a surprise when I decided to try a new sushi place in the old Spudnuts Donut location in Westlake. My son and I had a fantastic omakase lunch with each dish better than the last Thi=s a true gem and we will become regulars since our favorite Kaminari (in the same center) closed a few years ago.
Located in a nice and quiet strip center with urban ambiance and nice fusion touch to fresh sashimi. We loved their yellowtail sashimi and service was fast and attentive. They also have pork buns which is rare in sushi place. This place pulls off fusion Japanese very well
We are lucky to have authentic sushi in the area. Other sushi places do the equivalent of using ketchup as pizza sauce, if you know what I mean! This place is reasonably priced and always left me satisfied. I'd recommend it to anybody craving real sushi. (Their American rolls are also great too.)
Very good food. Good service. A little overpriced. Ordered green tea and was expecting hot tea. Got green iced tea instead. I gave it a try and really liked it!
So glad I found a close sushi place by my area and the sushi was absolutely delicious and fresh! :)
