The absolute best wine bar!!! Fantastic curated selection of wines, most are natural/organic/biodynamic \\u0026 small lot; with many being local to Ventura \\u0026 Santa Barbara counties. Plus, there is a 2nd level of wines for tasting — super premiums.\\n\\nBut, the best part of this wine bar is the proprietors Charlie \\u0026 Lauren (brother \\u0026 sister). They are very enthusiastic about their wine bar \\u0026 they want to share their knowledge so you can have a pleasurable wine experience. They ask you questions about your wine likes, provide you with tastes, and will give you samples of wines you may not know of but you may like.\\n\\nThe best deal is the monthly or bi-monthly wine club. You can select the wines for your allotment, plus you get a large discount on wines by the glass.\\n\\nI have been to many wine bars \\u0026 have belonged to many wine clubs ….. but, Club 14 is the BEST that I have ever experienced.
This place was okay. The beer and wine is good. However, it took over an hour to get our pizzas (they have a very small kitchen with to cooks). I probably won't go again, but the place was cute.
Ok I had no idea this hidden gem was here and I’m so glad I went! They have a wonderful selection of wines that my friend and I shared in a tasting. Charlie was so great! He learned it was our first time there and treated us so well! The place was packed and music was playing. Very fun and family friendly environment. Although I’m not a beer drinker their brewery is also amazing and I’m looking forward to bringing my husband. We also tried the pizza and it was delicious. Strongly recommend you try Club 14!
Great wines!!! Great vibes!!! Definitely try a pizza. Even better personable experience. Lauren is amazing. Didn’t get a chance to meet Charlie and I’m sure he’s amazing too lol. Simple location to find. Must check it out if you are in the area.
We found Club 14 on Google and decided to take a chance!!! Totally worth it!! Charlie took us on an amazing journey of wines!! He is so knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely come back when in town again!!
Charlie takes the wine tasting experience to a whole new level! He’s so fun, knowledgeable and down to earth. He also has a fantastic selection of really awesome wines.
The employees were knowledgeable and very friendly. They have a nice selection of beer and wine. The pizza was very good. We had a very good time.
Such a uniquely personalized tasting experience! Charlie and Lauren are the perfect dynamic duo and we genuinely enjoyed our visit here; we learned a lot, felt welcomed and appreciated, and will absolutely be back!
The place is great, it certainly fits whether you are a wine drinker or beer drinker. Wine bar is small area and certain couples decided to hang out there which backed it up and made it difficult for others to get their wine, otherwise it was very nice. Should extend wine bar area. More people there getting wine than those getting beer and those beer drinkers didn't clog up that area at all, they took their beers and sat down, unlike the wine area where they just stood there oblivious to others.
Charlie is absolutely amazing. As someone who loves wine this man definitely knows his stuff. Always fun and friendly and once he knows where your pallets stands, the recommendations are even better than they already were before. Highly highly highly recommend joining the wine club and exploring all the good wines available!!!
