Ultimately... Check this place out!Great spot in a cozy neighborhood! Whether you are dining with family or relaxing with friends, the patio is perfect for evenings enjoying food and beer, and Margaritas!Very colorful interior and exterior with unique tile mosaics on walls and floors. The bright colored tables and surroundings make you feel like you are somewhere else. The service was very limited, but if you are not in a hurry you will be rewarded. The food is quite good. The chips and salsa are tasty, you get a red and Verde for the chips. The guacamole was very tasty but it came out with the dinner, a little late IMO.The beer was cold and kept coming, need I say more? The only critique I have besides slow service (by being understaffed) would be there was a true lack in spice and depth of flavor.(review based on new ownership only being open 3 weeks; 3/31/2022)

Yesterday I ordered four takeout meals. All of the taco shells were soggy and had to be thrown in the garbage. The enchiladas were nasty and disgusting. I had ordered a combo plate with three ground beef enchiladas. When I got all the way home and open the box it was three chicken enchiladas in there. The food was so disgusting we threw the whole meal in the garbage and fed the chicken to the dogs. I feel like they did this to us because we did not leave a tip. They asked me if I wanted to leave a tip and I said no because it is takeout. We were already paying $60 for our meal and I did not feel the need to leave more when I was not being served in doors. I would not recommend eating here to anyone it was absolutely horrible. I only gave them a one star because you have to write something.

Opened after being closed for about 2 years following a fire and bringing the restaurant up to code. West Sacramento's best kept secret. Well known to locals. Had crispy chicken tacos served with rice and refried beans. Large portion of tortilla chips served with red and green salsa. We also ordered guacamole that was fresh and flavorful. Entree portions are large so bring your appetite. The original Sal is around. He did all the original mosaics that decorate the interior and exterior of the building. I saw him interviewed on a local TV station recently. I will definitely be dining there again. It is very close to the downtown arena. Very convenient.

Recently reopened due to a fire. The service sucks! Watched people walk out. Food is overpriced for what you get and not good. No diet drinks, so watch out diabetics, water only.

Great food! Amazing and friendly!! Will visit again!

This place used to be good until it sold a few years ago. I hope they stay closed. Serving low quality food for profit is unacceptable

Local favorite. Classic family Mexican. Nothing not to love

It's time to reopen! Your customers are tired of all the media-created fake drama forcing great businesses like yours to shut its doors. PLEASE OPEN FOR DINING!! ??

So glad you guys are still open after your fire. Awesome food. Cool atmosphere with neat mosaic tile art. One of my 2 local faves!
