Ate here on the last night of a 10-day trip to LA. It was absolutely delicious. Extremely small w only five or six 2-tops and a small bar. Great for a date or an intimate conversation. Possibly the best unagi I've ever had. Great gyoza. The salmon avocado roll was terrific. I'm sorry I live in Boston because I can't go here frequently!
Hands down some of the best sushi/Japanese food I've had in LA and I've tried a lot of different places here. Everything was so flavorful and well balanced. Will definitely return!
We were given the private back room for our party of four. What a great vibe. The food is as good as it was 20 years ago and the service is excellent! Wonderful dining experience.
Cute and authentic Japanese place. Super nice staff and the food was delicious. Really recommend their homemade gyoza and mixed tempura.
Don’t miss it. It’s super authentic. Sushi is the priority here as it should be. And so good.
This place is a hidden gem. Very authentic sushi. It is owned by a Japanese and everybody speaks Japanese. It definitely makes you feel like you’re back in Japan.
We had an absolutely delicious dinner at Ta-Ke Sushi tonight. It's a small and quaint restaurant and it feels nice and cosy inside. The service is excellent - friendly and efficient. The food quality is impeccable, both in terms of freshness, preparation and also in terms of size. We ordered a tempura + sushi combo and it comes with a generous portion of mizo soup, a salad, and a bowl of rice. The ingredients used are really, really fresh. We loved it! Next time we are in LA, we'll be sure to come back again.
Tiny little spot (don't recommend for groups) I happened across one night a few years ago that quickly turned into one of my favorite sushi spots in LA. Love the vibe and the food is delicious.
Awesome little spot with reasonable prices. Right now they have an outdoor patio that’s lovely. Very nice staff. Need a reservation.
