Had a great time with my friends Ross Rylance and Ira Black here last week!! Friendly staff, good food and an unmistakable, iconic restaurant that oozes rock n roll!! ?????You’ve got to see this place!!!
Awesome place to eat if you’re a fan of hard rock and heavy metal. Cool decor, great food and a very friendly staff. Only downside is the parking situation as it can be difficult to find a spot on the street and the nearby pay lots charge $20-25.
The pizza is awesome and the staff is super friendly
What a experience, if the walls could talk in here. Really friendly staff and punters and liked the tributes to lemmy
Best pizza I ever had!! You know that cheese pizza on Home Alone? It's exactly like that! Also, the server escorted me to a safe spot after being followed by a stranger after a show at the Whisky. They make sure you are taken care of. The security and servers were on top of the situation. Drinks and food were perfect! This place is legendary as it is but their staff lives up to their reputation as being bad a**!
On my bucket list was to visit the famous rainbow bar and grill which I've now done. Amazing place steeped in years of rock n roll history. Great atmosphere and the chicken burger and fries were delicious
My favorite bar in L.A. No other joint comes near this place. All the history...the aura of rock n roll lingers...
Loved it here and, despite this being our 5th visit to LA, it was our first time here! Lots of music memorabilia and Lemmy’s old haunt from Motörhead! Highly recommended!
A historic Rock N Roll place is a must-see when visiting Los Angeles. My Chinese Chicken Salad was huge and tasty - and my wife had the sliders - very good, the fries were disgusting though. We were a party of eight - and we all hated them. Cold and soggy. But then you don't go here for the cuisine ;-) I took the Wacken people as guests who flew in for the Superbowl. Mentioned this when reserving a table. Wanted to reserve under the name Wacken - and the lady had no idea what Wacken was (if you don't - it's worth google Wacken Festival - the holy grail of metal). Interesting in a place like the Rainbow. Sadly, their prices reflect the tourist character of the place - and not the quality of their food - I would give it three stars of out five - and still recommended, as I love it for what it stands for. And yes, I did do a 30+ min detour just to go (mandatory with me to achieve five stars). So Rainbow guys in the kitchen: get your s*** together. Fries do not have to be soggy and cold. Should be easy to improve.
Its The Rainbow. If you like rock music then it's an absolute must visit. Iconic joint, first visit was 1990, three decades later it's still home.Oh yeah, we are lunch. Chili was great and I had bacon cheeseburger that was great, too. Great selection of beer, just a must go to place.
