This has to be some of the worst most disgusting pizza I ever ate in LA. The dough straight up sucks. Taste is horrible, super chewy and some weird after taste in there. The sauce taste like its the quality of grade school cafeteria food. Their whole big deal is this pepperoni square....it sucked hard as well. The roni creates this gross looking pool of grease that penetrates it way throughout the slice making it soggy, extra heavy and every bite taste like the onset of more heartburn. I seriously question the palette of any loyal customer. Oh..forgot I ordered a round slice too 1 bite and it hit the trash can, so no picture, but.......if you like thick round slices with a gummy undercooked layer of dough between the cheese and sauce then you have found your nirvana. Everyone else who actually likes pizza or enioys it....Stay Far Away from this trash pie. I would seriously go get 7-11 pizza before eating this again.
So I tried prince st pizza for the first time today.Starting with the good :High quality ingredients, proper packaging arrived in good shape and warm. The sicilian spicy spring ,not so spicy, pepperoni cupped but not charred and for some reason doubled up so greasy and chewy on an already over oiled crust that is very dense and sweet forward .Not bad but not craft or love filled .The New York round pie is a joke crust thick and floppy over floured worth about $1more than pizza pizza per pie
Best pie on the East and West coast!
AMAZING. Go ASAP, don’t hesitate.Pizza is incredibly flavorful with fresh sauce and fresh toppings. Definitely tastes like a New York pizza. You can get it by the slice ($6) or as a whole (~$36). They warm up the slices for you as well and there are a number of options to choose from, including vegetarian. There’s no seating inside but there is some space to stand and eat if you’d like. 10/10 recommend eating it while warm!
The famous Prince St. Pizza from New York has made its way to sunny Los Angeles. I am so happy they opened a spot on the Sunset Strip. The pizza is great. A few exclusive squares you can only find at this location (see photos). They have the famous pepperoni square you know and love. The staff is super friendly and attentive. If you want great pizza you must visit Prince St. Pizza.
So apparently this pizza place is well known on the east coast - NYC I think - for their own style of pizza. They do have a NY-Style that is good but they warned me that it is not their specialty.I don't have any other type of pizza to compare it to but everything we ate here was delicious. The crust/dough was special and I loved it. The toppings and flavors were amazing. Vodka Sauce and Pepperoni were so good. The employees were great and friendly. They have a little bar if you want to eat your pizza but generally, it's a to-go spot. Seems to be very popular but parking is not easy in that area, so maybe park somewhere further to work the pizza on the walk back to your car. If it is pricey, I forgot bec I loved it.
Still thinking about that crunch. It was so good and one of the best pizza i’ve had. The spice on their Spicy Spring slice is just perfect where it’s there but it doesn’t overwhelmed the other flavors, textures, and overall enjoyability of the pizza. I’d definitely recommend this pizza and it is 100% worth the drive if you’re ways away.I went at like 6:30 PM on a thursday night and there was barely anyone there and I got my food in like 2 minutes. The only major downside is that finding parking is absolute hell on earth, I’m so glad the food was good or else I would have been livid.
I honestly just don’t understand the hype. Why is this pizza $42? Mushrooms look and taste like they are out of a can. No cheese at all when compared to amount of toppings. Overpriced / overhyped.
Arguably the best Sicilian pizza in LA. Hard to get it right without being too doughy, but they absolutely crushed it. The spicy pepperoni is the classic you see on IG and Food Network. Little curly pepperonis harboring puddling of grease. Reminiscent of a NY slice, but a but on the thicker side. Right kind of dough without tasting too much like flour. A must try for sure. The white pizza with mushrooms is also fire, especially with some garlic salt.
Let me tell you about some fire ? pizza! This place is so good and the pizza is to wait for. And when I mean wait, there is gonna be a line. But it was all worth it. Not your typical NYC slice of pizza. It’s a pepperoni lovers dream pizza. My Hack, I called in the pizza…then grabbed a Lyft from my hotel about 30mins…Got there…walked pass the line and told the cashier my name…grabbed my pizza…and was out like a bandit passing the line that wrapped the corner. Boom boss move! Top 3 best pizza I’ve ever had. Gotta eat it hot and fresh.
