Overall, we loved Olivetta. The cocktails were fun and inventive, and the food was excellent. Our server was smart, friendly, and attentive. If you’re dining with men only, though, watch out for the doorman. Initially, he turned us away because someone in our group wore shorts, which he said violated the dress code (it doesn’t). As we waited for our car, a young woman wearing nearly the same thing walked right in. The doorman realized we saw this, reversed course, and invited us right in. It was pretty shameful.

Amazing food… the sour dough is a must with the tomato carpaccio and burrata. Decoration is great and parking is not very hard. Do save for a special occasion when trying to feel local.

First time here last night and wow, it did not fail to impress. Start to finish, everything was mouth watering and delicious. Great service, too. And their somelier Paul was incredibly helpful in selecting a good wine. He steered us toward a very reasonably priced red blend: Two Squared by Alpha Omega. Drinks like a wine priced 2x or higher. The filet mignon, fries, prosciuto & melon, and pork were big hits at our table, as well as that amazing, crusty, thick, salty bread. You can judge a restaurant by the quality of its bread, I once heard; if true, then this place is truly worthy of my 5 stars. I will be back. Again and again.

I have hosted a couple of birthday parties here and this restaurant and everything used to be so great. I am unsure if they switched managers but it has gone downhill from management to service. The last two times we visit the tuna was so bad (+ on top of that! the server gave us such a bad attitude after mentioning it. I am sure everyone would be so grateful if you bring back the previous managers again to Olivettas. Or @ least change managers. Also, like to point out one of the sommeliers named Christian who walks towards your table and has such a fake treat trying to sell you such an expensive wine for his up-sales. he definitely has no class at all to be called a sommelier. My staff members and I are extremely disappointed. And we don't think we will be coming back anytime soon.

My favorite restaurant in LA hands down!! The food and service is incredible. Every single dish is to die for and the drinks hit the spot every single time. LOVE

Very pricey for mediocre food. I was disappointed, we went in with high expectations and recommendations from the locals. Drinks weren't great or diverse. There's so much potential but it did not live up to my taste buds!. On top of that the service was also rude and bland. Not worth the hype/money.

We booked a dinner for our anniversary. We were wished happy anniversary when we came in. It was in their system. When we asked them to take a single photo of us at our table, they refused stating quite rudely and hat it’s against policy and that we can go take our own photo. We couldn’t get one nice photo of us on our special day. A cherished memory lost. Thoughtless and insensitive policies and rude service from a place that charges top dollar. If you are celebrating anything special, stay away from this place.

Came to LA to visit UCLA. My dad took us here for this special occasion. This place was amazing and they have a DJ! Out of this world food and service was outstanding! I recommend this place for anyone that wants to enjoy a fun and elegant dining experience!!

Just had dinner here tonight for the first time and really enjoyed the experience, The setting is really welcoming, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The staff is outgoing, friendly, informed and helpful. That alone is usually a complete oddity for a West Hollywood restaurant. When you add in the trendy patrons and popularity of this location, the fact that you find a friendly and accomodating staff is truly unreal. Thankfully here, you only experience the good. Although our table was somewhat tightly adjacent to our other tables, the sound baffling or overall setting somehow muffled the sound so it was easier to converse with your tablemates. I ordered the Branzino and it was perhaps the best I've had in LA. Served butterflied filleted and wonderfully seasoned. The side order of mushrooms was outstanding and actually tasted like meat as it was so tender and flavorful. Again, the staff/server was excellent - attentive and informed. Personally not a fan of this new service charge many of the LA locations have tacked on so hoping that will be a temporary thing post-pandemic. Valet is a costly $20 on a weeknight however you should be able to find street parking all around the area. A reminder that no photo taking is allowed indoors so plan accordingly. Who needs a Soho House when you have a place like this as the bar is a nice area as well.

The drinks are very pricey. I loved the fries. The pasta sucks. Get the pork chop. The lobster and pasta dish is supreme.
