It's the hip spot for thai food. Intended to look and feel like a real night market in Thailand (it does not). Patio dining is not currently open. The restaurant is noisy so not a good place for having a conversation or a romantic dinner. Lots of Christmas lights all about. They have a limited drinks menu. The food is so so, more for the scene, less about the food.
On the hunt for some yummers and read good things about this spot. Well, let me tell you. This place is da bomb. Fun and funky atmosphere- check. Great tunes you can groove to- check. Friendly, unpretentious, on-it staff- check. Epic Thai food- check. Delish cocktails and other bevies- check.Nate at the bar is rad. I’m currently high off the papaya salad it’s so spicy, yet delicious. I don’t know what kind of black magic they do on the roti, but at this point, I don’t care. The short rib curry is to die for.Do yourself a favor and hit up Night+Market.
The wings and Penang curry were so good! I will be back!
Good, but not authentic Thai food. Atmosphere was welcoming
Have not tasted the food, but it looks amazing, However, yesterday I went to pick up an order for doordash from there and as I was waiting, one of the ladies working there started to nag an employee in front of all the customers and said exactly this “ You're doing a horrible job on table 7” the employee had the saddest look on his face.. I understand that maybe that employee may have been doing a bad job but she could’ve professionally pulled him aside and told him that in private. I felt really awkward and sad just standing there listening to that happen.
Go for fried chicken sandwich and seriously excellent Thai food. They have a robust natural wine offering and full bar. WeHo is the OG location.
Wow the food here was sooooo good, so much attention to detail & the flavors are really vibrant. My family and I tried many menu items & were thrilled with everything, thought we’d take home more leftovers but ate more than we expected!1 star off for service; I’ve worked as a server for years so I usually don’t complain, but man the vibe was off. our server checked 3-4 times that we didn’t want to lower the spice, or order less food (for 4 people?). it’s worth having leftovers to try menu items & the food was far from crazy spicy anyway once we got it? I think it’s really rude to ask diners more than twice about anything, it comes off as condescending. everyone has their own style of customer service so I’ll give them some benefit of the doubt on that.
Good food but I've had Thai throughout SE Asia, as well as LA, and thismild was at least medium elsewhere. When I asked the waiter if this was indeed a mild order, he announced proudly that "we make our food very hot here" etc., etc. There was also a pinup in the bathroom apparently poking fun at someone who complained about the heat. So too macho on that; and yes, loud.
This place is delicious and has a great vibe. Fried Chicken sandwich, Lo Meon pastrami (forgot what the dish was called), and the last one was some sort of salad with spices, sorry faulty memory. It was all fantastic, and our server was great, very informative and friendly. I would suggest eating here if you like Thai foods.
Excellent food hip place &
