Best pizza in a while. That dough though.
Cauliflower crust vegan pizza well done….eggplant was the only topping added and it was served burnt? The base pizza just tomato and cheese is $20 and each topping is $1 on top? So essentially you get a cheese vegan pizza for $20 pricey… Taste ok. At this price the eggplant or any topping chosen should not be served burnt on top…
This is - bar none - the best pizza in town. I come here all the time. They even have real, friendly Southern-Italians that work there. Their Ceasar Salad is to die for, with real bits of anchovy and Parmesan Cheese Shavings! The Pizza - Perfect sauces, perfect texture, the dough has a light powdery residue from the flower... crisp as a fresh Parisian Baguette from the old country. This is the TRUE definition of Comfort Food :-)
Let me first say that Joe’s Pizza is good. It’s very good. I’ve been a customer for years as a result of this fact. However, their fairly recent shift to using proprietary deliver services rather than their own has resulted in a $25 order turning into a $38 order. And what’s more, these third party delivery drivers often arrive late and the pizza is no longer fresh. They’ve also called me from their cars to come out and get my order at times. Sadly, this is enough for me to take my business elsewhere. But I do hope they return to their in-house delivery service of “old”. If they do, I’ll gladly return to them for pizza orders.
I got two slices of Joe’s Pizza on a Saturday afternoon. Little to no wait, and our food was ready within a couple of minutes. There’s ample parking which is great because it’s on such a busy street. Overall, the slices were pretty solid, but not the best.
I had a custom request for a pizza for my friend's birthday and Joe's Pizza did an awesome job! Even through DoorDash delivery, they accommodated my request and did a great job. Thank you, Joe's Pizza!
The pizza has a nice tangy sauce and chewy crust, and they have great topping options. If you're looking for a pizza place, this is the place to go! Five-star service with a side of great tasting food!! Will be coming back soon.
Used to be the best meatball sub and calzone in LA. Recently its gone downhill. I have ordered 3 times in the past 2 months and its not the same. Food improperly cooked or undercooked. So sad. I will.update it if they actually bring it back to the amazing food it was, until then the 2 star stays.i ordered from the hollywood location around 7pm last night. To be fair we normly order from the sunset location.
I ordered two pizzas thru Postmates , and they managed to mess up the whole thing and brought me the wrong order, I wish the travesty ended there but no , they brought a fully burnt pizza and a fully burnt sandwich. This is terrible. No one should go through this again. Hire a quality check person ASAP.
Joe's is simply the best pizza in LA! As a native NYer this is the pizza we grew up on. I was amazed to find an authentic NYC pizzeria on the west coast. Even the meatball sub was on par with anything in NYC.
