Food is wonderful. Try the cheese cake. Closest I've come to New York. The matza ball soup was delicate and very tasty. The sitting area outside lacks in atmosphere. No table service but the people at the counter are very nice and sincerely welcoming.
The pastrami sandwiches are good, essentially the same as Langer's. I will have to try that spicy chicken sandwich next time, it looked real good.The chili fries are good too. Expect to leave full!
Great Deli, we took a small breakfast, 2 bagels & schmear and some potatoes knishes.Would highly recommend them for their freshness!
I was thrilled to find a deli that offers gluten-free bread and bagels! And both are very good! The pastrami sandwiches were great, as were the kosher dills.

Ohh man do I love this spot. Everything is top notch, the papa is my favorite followed by the BLT. Plenty of parking, great service, outdoor seating and tons of choices for old school deli deliciousness in modern packaging.
Great pastrami, very nice owners and wonderful employees but….The sandwiches are surprisingly and astonishingly small, especially for an authentic Deli (that knows to use Foxes U-Bet syrup for egg creams!). The chicken soup is watery/tasteless - but the matzoh balls are great.I wish they had a delivery option choice for extra meat on the sandwiches and hopefully they will get that chicken soup tasting as such.I look forward to re-reviewing and giving they the 5 star rating they should have when they have matured a bit.
Very casual restaurant with outdoor seating right on Sunset blvd. I had the Hot Papa which was a delicious hot pastrami sandwich. The prices were high but it was well worth a visit. Good parking, and only 15 minute drive from UCLA—-definitely recommend if you’re in town looking for a good sandwich shop with your Bruin.
My boyfriend said this is easily the best sandwich he’s had in LA.
I had the Chicken sandwich, It was ummm alright I guess, it was not nasty but it was not good either. I will say it was very big but in my opinion it was very bland, I'm from the south so when I think about a chicken sandwich I think about more seasoned chicken. I will say the size is amazing and the bread is really good. I would NOT pay 18.00 for, no offense but would rather have cheap chick fil a sandwich. Also they sent me cold slaw and I requested cucumber salad. This the 2nd time I request a certain side and they sent cold slaw. Very weird.My Boyfriend had the Nana and it was very good. The favors was very good. This is his second time getting that and it was really good. Needless to say I ate his food and left the chicken sandwich alone, he also had the same opinion on the chicken sandwich. Their corn beef and Pastrami is very good, I would go with one of those next time.
