Really enjoyed our evening at Dan Tana’s. The cozy setting is charming... a small, traditional Italian restaurant with that “Old Hollywood” atmosphere. It seems unchanged from the days when Frank Sinatra ate there! There were so many dishes on the menu that sounded great, so we’ll have to return.
By far one of the best dining experiences I have had in Los Angeles or anywhere for that matter.From the moment you step in you are treated like family. If you are lucky enough to get a reservation your life will change for the better.

My wife and I have been eating at Dan Tana’s for years and every time we go it is a great experience. Being a foodie and been to the finest restaurants this is still my favorite including the food the service and the ambience. There are so few great restaurants from the 60s and 70s that people don’t realize what great food great service and ambience is now days, but you’ll surely find it at this restaurant.
Wonderful old school Italian food served in a unique comfortable “feels like home” setting. Sauces are delicious. Chicken Parm, Lasagna, veal & eggplant piccata, and of course a Caesar Salad. Service excellent also.

Dinner was amazing! You must get the veal parm. It’s one the staple entrees. We also had the Tana salad and the calamari. Please has an amazing vibe and a big thank you to Emily! You made our night very special.
If you want not to be considered because you are just a tourist,… this is the good place to go. If you want to pay a very high price for a low quality level of food,… this is the good place to go. My meat was very tough and nervous, the Pinot wine that accompanied it was not good either. But my wife’s pasta dish was good. We had a very bad moment here and I absolutely not recommend this place. All for $120 for 2 (20% tip included) with no appetizer or desert!! Skip this one
A classic, must try. Get a dirty martini at the bar. Pretty sure you will see some celebrities.
