Great food, great wine, great service and atmosphere. Lovely owner! Highly recommended for authentic Italian food.

If you are anywhere in Los Angeles or on a vacation this is a must stop and a hidden gem in West Hollywood. You will have the best Italian food in all of Hollywood and maybe the City. There is not one thing wrong with this place. It is perfect. You will be in heaven. You will be calm and relaxed while served by the best staff and the owner is cute as a button, and Italian. It was concert night for Buddy, my grandson, and I and we were in search of a new fine dining restaurant. We were driving down Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood and Buddy sees this little tiny Brown building and says let's look. He sure knows how to pick them. Turns out to be an Italian restaurant with everything made from scratch, no preservatives, no sugar, just amazing food. They even make their own bread. We walked in, parking is on the street and they might have valet at night, I don't know. We were the first ones there. They were not even open yet, but we did not know and we walked in. The sweetest, most adorable young man asked us where we would like to sit. The place is so pretty, but small. We told him to put us where ever he wanted. We were starting to realize the place was just about to open. The waiter took us upstairs to the most wonderful table near a window. He asked what we might want to drink and gave us menus. Their menu is not huge. Again, they make everything from scratch. We were brought warm Italian bread and it was so great. I asked about it and they make it right there as they do everything. It was amazing. For entrees we had ravioli and a wonderful pasta filled with shrimp, clams and mussels in a red sauce. It was so great, my grandson was "sharing" my food. Again, all made there, to order, by scratch. For dessert we had the best Tiramisu I have ever had in my life.As the place began to fill I could see wonderful dishes going by. The waiter was kind to my grandson and gave us all the time we wanted. It was just a wow experience and I have been to most of the Italian places in Hollywood. I can't wait to bring my husband. He is going to love it.On the way down the stairs an adorable man took my check and card. It turned out he is the owner. He is Italian and all of these receipts are his. I think he might have "borrowed" a little from his grandmother and mother and added some of his own. I could tell he loved his little fine dinning place. He was so sweet--photo attached. You must go there. You just must.

My wife and I had the most wonderful evening at Amarone. We were pleasantly surprised to have our high italian cuisine expectations blown out of the water. The authenticity of their pasta and tomato sauce, the freshness of their fish and meat is incomparable. Just thinking of our experience is wanting me to go back! Thanks Sandro and staff, see you all soon!

Nothing to talk about. Food was mediocre. Not worth the prices.

Very authentic great little Italian.

We never have a bad meal here. Tonight we had the carpaccio of beef with arugula instead of capers, the parpadelle special with mushrooms and truffle and tiramisu for desert. Everything was just perfect..upstairs was a bit chilly!!

Of you book an Italian restaurant and there's no Italian in the kitchen....run away. Awful food, simply awful

The food is is great. The service was on point, passionate and helpful. We went with a party of 4 and all of us got a different special. None of us were disappointed. Two draw backs are, they only sell wine for alcohol, nothing else. The 2nd draw back is that the space is limited. 2 - 3 tables downstairs 6 or so tables upstairs. So always make a reservation. Apps, mains and dessert were all made to perfection.

I had a 7 pm reservation for 1 on a Friday evening and was promptly seated in small, empty front room. A waiter brought some water and bread and a few minutes later I ordered the Insalata Mista and mushroom ravioli, along with a glass of Chardonnay. Everything was tasty, especially the freshly prepared ravioli.
