Alana’s is a charming coffee shop at the back of the newly renovated West Hollywood Park. It looks small from the street, but it is actually much larger, with a seating area deep inside the space and even a cute, well decorated backyard.I had a decent flat white and enjoyed a nice chat with the barista, who is totally chill and gave me some cool recommendations of coffee shops in other parts of the city. Overall it was a nice experience. Come by when you are around the park.
Was told that this place was a must try during my visit. I was also told there is always a line. Both were true. The line stretched down the street but moved along. I like ice cream but am not a fanatic. This was truly.
I prefer this place hands-down to more hectic places like Alfred or verve in the area. The staff is so much nicer and it’s just as beautiful but way less crowded. Great coffee
A great little coffee shop with nice and knowledgeable staff. The americano is delicious. Pour over is amazing and you get to choose from all their bean collections. We didn’t try the pastry but they all looking exquisite.
Clean, beautiful vibe, indoor/ outdoor seating, great selection of solid tasting coffee with some twists in the menu +service with a smile. Love it! Will be back
Some the absolute best coffee I’ve had in LA. The clarity of flavor in the pour over was excellent, and the americano is delicious. The baristas are super nice too.
Super cute and super friendly. 1st, they have simple syrup. You'd be surprised how many coffee places don't. I had a muffin that was delicious too. There is a table, or two, outside. There are a couple tables on the front part. AND! There is a super nice, well lit, clean area in the back, as you can see by one of my photos.I'm only in the area every few months and so I make sure to support local spots and stay away from Starbucks, obviously, as well as Urth and the similar. Ibwas informed they have an original location down in Santa's Monica or something. I'm keeping that in mind for when I adventure down there.Support local and give this place a try.
Great baristas. Love sitting outside and enjoying a coffee. Very reasonable prices
Nice ambiance with good green tea, friendly barista
Best kept secret coffee place in West Hollywood - for not much longer, I’m sure. The coffee is amazing. I feel like it’s rare for me to be surprised by a mocha, and let me assure you my mocha standards are high! The chocolate they use is wow and all the baristas are well trained and know how to steam a perfect latte. All the staff are terrific - friendly, courteous, welcoming. Coffee aside, I’m not gonna hang around a place long, unless there is good seating, outlets for my laptop (guilty!) and great ambiance. The outdoor patio is so cute, just the right amount of shade, comfy couches, and has been designed (much like the inside) with a ton of soft sage-colored greenery. It really does feel like an oasis away from home. Great spot to hang out with your laptop, meet a friend or business colleague.
