I decided to give this place another chance since i was last there on chinese new year and had the longest wait, and worse service ever. Well....i will not be returning. I ordered the pork and chive dumplings among other things and didn't think to open them up to inspect them before eating them. After the 5th dumpling I cut one in half and realized they were raw. PORK DUMPLINGS RAW!!! This is a major health and safety issue.
This place is hands down the best dumpling house I've ever gone to. The service was immaculate and super interactive. The server was fantastic at giving recommendations and super friendly. I would recommend the spicy chicken. The heat and numbness creep up on you, but you can't stop eating them. I definitely want to come back and try more of the items on their menu.
First time here .I was craving some dumplings so I ordered pork fried dumplings and some chicken chow mane for my family. Not to long after I ate the dumplings, I started to feel tired , with mild sweating and nauseous with a slight headache.Later in the evening I had the worst stomach virus that lasted 6 hours luckily noone else had the chow mane so I threw it away . I’ve never been so sick before with vomiting and stomach issues. I got to wondering if one of the cooks or staff had it and maybe didn’t wash his/ her hands or if the pork was bad. But I will never eat here again. Too scared, its 19 hours later and I’m still sick.
Ordered the spicy shrimp and pork dumplings. Outstanding flavor, spicy! And ready in less than 5 minutes, disregard the 25-40 minutes. Pick up super easy, friendly staff. If under $20, cash only. Can’t wait to try something else.
Great food. All in house made. The sauce for the eggplant dish is superb. Loved the chicken shrimp dumplings. Definitely use the garlic sauce that comes with it.The staff are all very courteous and welcoming. The only negative is the styrofoam cups and paper plates. But it's not a deal breaker as the food outshines everything else. I'll be back!
Beef chow fun was tasty but beef was not very tender. Pork spareribs with garlic didn't taste like any garlic was added. Mediocre experience. May or may not return to try something else.
Let’s start with the service, because that’s what stood out most. Food was mostly pretty good as well. Some dishes were just a little off. Not bad but missing a touch of something.Like the spicy fried chicken. Could have been a killer dish. Definitely had the numbing spices, but I wanted the spiciness as well. A dipping sauce could be an option as well. We tried adding chili oil which helped. Still 4 stars.Spicy wontons and soup dumplings. These were also pretty good, but a tad on the sweet side for me. 4 stars.Green beans. My buddy wanted this dish and I’m always fine adding some veggies to make me feel better, just wasn’t looking forward to it but was I wrong. The best dish of the 4 we tried. 5 stars.Definitely worth another visit and will try a few different dishes and combinations.
Can't get enough of the green beans and shrimp and pork wontons in chili oil. Beef stew soup was what we've been searching for after Guppies was closed down years ago.
The shrimp and pork dumplings in Chilli is amazing. The hot sour soup is the bomb!
Chinese spot with cartoon buns. Came here with my mom on a Saturday around 6:30 for dinner and got seated immediately. There’s a parking lot with plenty of parking. Credit cards and cash is accepted. There’s both indoor and outdoor dining, as well as takeout available. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We got three dishes for the two of us and had leftovers for the both of us.They were out of custard buns when we were there, so we opted for the red bean buns. They come in 5 and are shaped like little pigs, which almost made them too cute to eat (key word being almost). The combination fried rice does come with shrimp - it was a tad dry but filling. The fried pork dumplings were tasty and came in 8 pieces.
