The food at Noypitz was ok. The pancit was good. The Lumpia Shanghai was good. The Pinakbet needed more meat. There was hardly any meat in the Kare Kare. The Crispy Pata was ok..
The food was nasty and made me sick. The egg rolls were too soggy and not crispy. The panic had a funny after taste.
Great place to listen to live bands and eat Filipino dishes. Free parking. Walk-ins are welcome but reservation for big groups are required. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Dining at this restaurant at lunchtime on a weekend was a pleasant experience. There were no crowds, service was fairly quick and efficient. Our waitress was very personable and helpful in describing the restaurant's most popular offerings. Our little family decided on fishballs for appetizers, the Noypitz platter as the main course, with beef sinigang to round things up. The fishballs were not the fishballs of my youth and they were served with sweet chili sauce which was a point against the dish. The platter items were ok too. The pancit was tasty, the lumpia tiny and slightly anemic in color, the calamari wasn't crunchy enough. I think the fried chicken quarter was supposed to be Max's inspired and it was decent. My hubby liked the crispy Pata which had crunchy-enough skin. For dessert we had the halohalo and a slice of sans rival. The cake was pretty to look at and hit the spot, but we've had better. The merengue layers were too dry and crumbly (I'm a decent cook and baker). Hubby liked the halohalo despite it having candied beans (he's used to Cebu style halohalo, which he says has no beans and has more fruits). There's a lot of other things on the menu that we would like to try on another visit. I will update my review at that time. But for the location, ambiance and service, Noypitz is a place you can proudly take non-Filipino friends to for an introduction to our cuisine. I hear the place pops at night when the band plays. Maybe do it then to showcase our food and our karaoke skills.
5 of us went there yesterday afternoon. Although the food was good, the service was terrible. We were only 1 of 3 tables of customers, but it took forever for anyone to come take our order, it took forever to get our food, and when we were done eating, nobody checked on us for about 30 minutes. I finally had to get up and go ask someone for the check and to-go boxes. Another group of 4 arrived after we did, but they got their food way earlier than us. Will never go back here again.
Place to take your visitors, family, loved ones. Food is freshly prepared and expected for pinoy dishes. Ambient is great and can get loud during times with live bands.
We were disappointed with the food we ordered. Soup was too salty, calamari was saggy ..lechon pre cook.serving of bagoong v smal. Vegy not good
Terrible experience. The staff has zero communications and lousy service. The food wasn't even ready and we had a 1230pm food pickup. We waited for a hour for the order and still wasn't ready. Dont even bother dining and ordering at this place.
