Second visit to George’s cafe. This time came in for lunch and had a Cisco burger. Pretty tasty. Fries nice and crispy. My only suggestion would be little thicker fries, but that’s just my preference. Will certainly come back to try our their dinner options.
We were out and decided to go to George's Cafe. It is a small hole in the wall across the street from the Hong Kong Plaza. Parking is very limited in the front cuz they share with another place. I think they have the back to park too.The place has limited indoor dining. They also have outdoor patio dining too. You order inside and they bring it to you.They serve breakfast and lunch. I had a mushroom cheeseburger with potatoe salad. The burger was hot. I don't know if it's me or the burger, something just doesn't agree with me.The people were very nice.
We have been needing a place like this in the neighborhood for a while. Fresh made to order plates. I have yet to have a dish that I didnt like. My wife got the BLTA wrap. She said it was good but the bacon was chopped too small. Almost like bacon bits. The 2x2x2 breakfast is an excellent choice. They breakfast potatoes are outstanding. I hope we have George's Cafe around for a long time. Oh the addition of the awning in the patio was a great additiona. Makes eating outside more enjoyable.
My wife and I enjoyed a couple burritos. I got the tri- tip with peppers and onions and my wife the avocado burrito. The French fries were quite good. I suggest asking for the red sauce as it was a little more flavorful than the green sauce. Very nice staff. Looking forward to trying something else from the menu.
Best country potatoes and the over medium eggs were made perfectly. Service was excellent as well. Clean outdoor seating area. Water tasted great, not tap like.
Food was amazing and full of flavor. Skip the fries and opt for potato salad.
I expected something different it said cafe so I thought It was a place where someone comes to you and takes your oder and it was not like that and Food was ok.
Good tri tip. I'll go for a review review the next time. This time I forgot to to because I was so very hungry. I couldn't wait but you get the idea when I say, the person before me and the people after me ordered the tri trip sandwich as well.
We came for breakfast, it was great! George, the owner was very friendly. We wish we could come back to try his lunch menu! He uses Boars Head meats, Yum!
Amazing little place! We definitely will be coming back and will be regulars. Amazing spot ! Food was amazing. And they also accommodated our dog and brought him water. My new favorite. I will be sharing
