There is nothing bad to say about a all American diner chain. Soon as I walked in greeted by server and directed to my table. He took my order right away since I knew what I wanted already. I only had limited time for my break. From sitting down, taking my order, and receiving my food. I was in and out within 30 minutes. My food was fresh and very delicious, no complaints at all. Plenty of parking space in a big shopping plaza near and far from Danny's. The tables were all clean and sanitized. The mens restroom was very clean as well.
A few weeks prior to this visit, the food was kinda okay. It took forever to get service and then it took along time to get served. I can't really get to mad, the people that I was with decided to pick the back area, where they have a memory problem, if it would've been busy, that's kinda a different story. But they forget your alive and you probably could leave without paying and leaving their tip. But this time, I chose where we were going to sit. My mistake, we were right next to the Kitchen, where there was no way they can't possibly forget we were there. "Wrong" ! My son fell asleep. If that tells you any thing. ÑORMS down the street was alot quicker and that was last year during the COVID-19. I don't know, maybe it's me. Maybe I'm expecting to much. To top it off, my son and his old lady got mad because I wasn't going to leave a tip. My grandson was on my side, he thought that that was B‐-----t. This was the worst Denny's that I've ever been to and I've been to alot of Bad Denny's. From San Diego to Grand Pass Oregon.
Service was lack luster especially being seated and taking our orders. I'm sure there are issues with lass staff available, but it didn't seem worth the price of the food.It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great, and 3.59 for a soda or coffee seems a bit much.
They don’t separate the food in separate containers how they supposed to anymore. My hash brown/eggs were all mixed up w my crepes ?
Best experience in over 2 years and the food was perfect as requested. We only had to wait for extra butter for our pancakes. PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO THE PREVIOUS SYRUP Dispensers.The new ones take forever to dispense out the Syrup.... what a pain in our b.... I was to the point where I was going to remove the spout!
The WORSE experience I ever had at a Denny's. New people, new manager at the West Covina. We got seated and got our drinks, But than 15 minutes or more went by, and so my wife and I had to wait longer for just to order, I should of known better. Okay I can see there are NEW servers after coming more than 12 years at this Denny's at 645 North Azusa Ave, West Covina, CA. 91791. Server walked by our table 2 times and after the 3rd I had to raise my voice before she was gone again, "hey we haven't ordered yet, no one took our order". Okay the server said she did not know the other server who sat us and got our drinks didn't take our order ? My wife just wanted the Apple Crisp (and NOT the Kookie dessert on the photo of the menu). She thought she made it clear, pointing to the second line of desserts, the Apple Crisp, not the photo dessert. Did she really understand ? NO. My wife got served the Kookie dessert instead. She accepted it since they we busy by now, and the server left quickly before having a chance to say anything. My wife didn't want to make a problem or issue. Okay fine. I was still waiting for my Classic burger with SEASONED fries. The couple who came after us, sitting across from us were served their dinner before me, while I was still waiting for my meal. Finally got my burger, NO Season fries, just the regular ones, so I told her to take it back. Oh I forgot, before I had already gotten up to ask the manager for coffee, and told him I'm still waiting for my order, when the served came with the wrong order of fries, which she took back. Manager just came back with my burger and no fries on the plate. Later came my seasoned fries without much battered seasoning, must of been fried super fast ? Okay that was enough. I asked the manager for a container. He said he would removed the Apple Crisp dessert from the bill, not charge us, so we wanted to leave and pay. Usually we get the bill, but the server was at the register telling the manager telling him what we had. I still gave a gratitude of $ 3.20 after my military discount, which I usually do, but when I seen the printed bill for the 1st time after I had ALREADY Paid, I saw the Apple Crisp was still charged to us, but only my drink taken off !? WTF. Needless to say we maybe NEVER come back here, and that's sad after 12 years of decent service.

Great food and service. Good place to go for breakfast any time of the day.
The service is good but could use some better employees. The waitress did not understand our order the first time and we were wondering if she was going to put in the right order the entire time. This Denny’s is the only one in the area open 24 hours near the colleges.
Need better management they won't except coupons
