I’ve had this place about 5 times now and each times is very enjoyable! I spoke with an employee during their grand opening and the restaurant owners worked with another popular Vietnamese restaurant in the SGV called a golden Deli. Culantro is fresh and is picking up in traffic every time I stop by. Try their home made chili oil! It’s really good. We also tried their bitter days coffee and it takes like Oreo cookies and is easily shareable between 2 people. Haven’t tried something I don’t like yet!
I have written a review about their shrimp spring rolls before and today I tried the tofu rolls as I am not eating meat for holy week. I have to admit I was a little nervous because I am not a big fan of tofu.. but they were sooo delicious. Did not disappoint. They are always to nice and friendly too. Love it here!!
Everything Is Delicious! I Get The Seafood Pho, My Parents Get The Fried Rice, And My Sister Gets The Chow Mein! The Servers Are So Nice And Attentive

Always a delight to eat here. Food is always fresh & delicious. I get the the Combination Pho',, the pork chop plate, & the shrimp spring rolls. My wife gets the chicken lemongrass plate. All are very tasty...
Almost the best pho I ever had, excellent quality. Really hard to beat this. The meat isn't second choice cuts like your average pho spot so the prices are a bit high. I noticed the basil, bean sprouts and limes were very fresh, as were the spring rolls. Even the shrimp even looked de-veined. I got a green tea Thai tea which tastes really nice and fresh. The service is actually really good here which is something usually not expected at your average pho place. And they'll bring your bill to the table! I ate here almost 2 days in a row and I would do it again
We had a lovely dinner at Culantro & Basil Pho. I loved everything I ordered this evening. Pork Spring Rolls were nice, I liked the crunchy fried surprise and the peanut sauce was very good. I also had their Sea Food Pho, the first sip of broth told the story of a divine bowl of Pho. I ordered a regular size bowl and had leftovers. Finally let me just talk about their Green Thai Tea, I was so happy that they had an Oatmilk option for this drink which by the way is delicious.Needless to say we really enjoyed our dining experience and we will be back.
