Previous meals at The Fish House were phenomenal and indescribably delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly! We decided to celebrate good fortune there however we were incredibly disappointed . We started the meal with a fried oyster appetizer which was quite delicious and perfectly cooked . The boulebaise pasta dish was bland and all of the seafood was extremely overcooked. The linguine noodles were al dente. I thought that by adding extra Parmesan cheese the fish would be palatable. Not! I didn't eat much and did not take home the remaining 3/4ths of the bowl . What?! The ahi tuna with piccata sauce was awful and ruined the fresh tuna. We answered the wait person and assistant's questions, "how are you enjoying your flavors" by responding that it was not as delicious as last time. We received no response from the wait persons. Very disappointing!
We ate here 3 nights in a row because it was so good. The restaurant is high quality serving high quality food. All the staff are brilliant and cannot be faulted. Their professionalism and knowledge of the menu is second to none and they were so friendly and welcoming as well. We would have come back for a fourth visit as well but unfortunately our last night in Watsonville was the night that they are closed. Everything about this restaurant is a lesson in how to get things right.
Food was ok. Customers service was good. The restaurant is not for young families, more of a quite older crowd. Slightly over priced.
Really nice and kind staff. Excellent food. We had the bouillabaisse and the smoked salmon ravioli with vodka sauce. Service was quick.

The food was good, but the service was the slowest I've seen in a long time. I asked for three glasses of water, and they 15 min later, they had not shown up. We asked for extra sauce for our bread when the bread was served. The sauce arrived after our dinner was consumed. Everything was like this.

My husband and I ate here for his birthday. He's a fan of fish, but I am not. He had the grilled Snapper, I had the Fettucine Alfredo with Chicken. Both were delicious! The Snapper came with perfectly-cooked vegetables, and some Penne Pasta, which my husband said were also delicious. Try the Garlic Bread too!
