La Perla is a real discovery. The chef makes a wide variety of excellent, classic and unusual Mexican dishes, especially seafood, not seen on most Mexican restaurant menus in the US. Friendly, attentive service. Best mole I've ever tasted. Surprisingly low prices. It's a wonderful find behind its unassuming little storefront.
An Amazing seafood restaurant tucked in the middle of nowhere
Authentic Mexican food served in a vibrant downtown Watsonville. The service was excellent and the food was delicious with generous sized plates. It was busy on this Sunday afternoon but a table cleared in less than five minutes. The service personnel came by multiple times to provide additional chips, salsa, water and ask how things are going. Many restaurants can learn from this establishment in Watsonville.

Awesome place to eat fresh Mexican food home made tortillas aguas frescas service was great food was delicious I order a half fried half grilled whole fish with a special Red salsa on top got to tell you was amazing never had such a great plate so original perfectly cooked love it??

Seafood here is fresh and delicious! Great, friendly service. I tried the tostada mixta, fish taco and shrimp taco… I really liked them all. Our server Viviana made sure we had a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Very, very mediocre food. I love empanadas and I ordered theirs and I have no idea what the crab was mixed with - it was a taste that I've never had before and it was mediocre at best. The flan was like a rubber ball. Service was good and prices are decent. They said that the corn tortillas were made on premises - but it didn't taste like a wonderful homemade corn tortilla
