Went thru drive thru and order they told me it was gonna be a 15 min wait for my food which I didn't mind at all but when the order came and I got home the chicken was really burned and and there was barely an meat on the chicken. I also order the new Beef Birria Tacos and their expensive $11 for two small tacos and the small cup of sauce it came with. They weren't good either tasted more like oil then anything and wasn't fresh , I wish I went back cause pretty sure the management would much agree that the chicken was burned!!!
While our meal ended up being pretty good, the restaurant appeared to be in chaos. Long lines to order because the cashier kept disappearing to help elsewhere, and a long wait after ordering. That seemed to all be a result of it being a busy lunch. So, understood. The part that really bugged me was just how filthy the place was. The floor was sticky, and even the walls had grubby fingerprints and old stuck-on food. Not the result of just a busy lunch rush but a longer period of inattention. Totally gross. We planned to dine in but took the food to go, because we didn't really want to sit down or touch anything.
Whomever was working the drive through window today was fantastic. Wish more retail experiences were like this one. Thanks for making my day a little easier ??
Greasy... probably should take the time to empty the trash in the dining room....over flowing...no reason for it
The roasted chicken is awesome especially with the creamy cilantro sauce. Avocado slices with cauliflower rice and lettuce makes it healthy in my mind. Delish!
Order online and my hubby went for the food and they still didn’t have it ready no bueno
The guy who takes orders speaks very fast and in Spanish. I have nothing against Spanish but I do not speak it. He spoke sometimes with an accent and sometimes without. He was very hard to understand. All I wanted was 3 pieces of chicken for my dogs and 2 tacos. They gave me 6 pieces of chicken, which I threw out 3 and charged me for the 2 sides instead of charging it as a meal. Charged everything separately.i was WAY OVERCHARGED for my order, $28.Be very careful, they see you coming. I've never eaten at an El Pollo and WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!! Food was dry. Way overcharged me... CRAZINESS!!!
Little known fact, EPL has a vegetarian and even vegan burrito! The app is easy to use and curbside pickup is fast. I just wish they didn't charge as much for it as for their meat/dairy versions. Would also be nice to have other vegan and vegetarian options on the menu.
I frequent this location due to proximity & because I like the food. I find everything always well made, great tasting, and better than several options around as far as healthy ingredients. I wish they had steak, ha I know.
Placed order online using the app. When I got to the store my order wasn't ready. I waited like 5 min before I was approached. I told them I was picking up my to go order. They couldn't find the receipt. Other people came in to store to place their order and had it before me.
