Some of the best takoyaki I’ve had. The spicy champion mazesoba has a great kick. Good service, and meal came out in minutes. Will return.
Brothless noodles but saucy. You have an option to make the classic noodles in to rice bowl. I got the curry spicy, and it was pretty hot. The noodles had a good thick texture and were quite heavy. You get complimentary rice to finish off your sauce, and they also recommend adding vinegar halfway through to change the flavor. It's far from my home, so I don't see myself coming out often, but if I am in the area, it will be one of my top choices. Food does take a bit, though.
Mazesoba hero is located right across mt sac. Really like the price and value. It is so delicious and will recommend to all my friends!!!
?? JAPAN (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - The thick and chewy noodles underneath all the chosen toppings will remind you of those used for tsukemen dipping ramen, and indeed these noodles are made of wheat flour and not buckwheat like most soba. The classic mazesoba ($12) is a good introduction to the restaurant and is available in either non-spicy or spicy versions. The poached egg is laid on top of a bed of ground pork right before serving, all to be mixed with the shredded seaweed, onions, and garlic.
Had never heard of or tried Mazesoba until today and enjoyed it a lot. It was a masterpiece of flavor! My favorite was the Ocean Mazesoba and husband enjoyed his Mazesoba that came with the spare rib. The tempura and chicken wings were great as well. Can’t wait to come back and try the other things on the menu.
First time here, quality noodles, and taste was awesome!
Best chashu buns I've ever had ? My friend brought me here so I wasn't sure what to expect from the noodles, especially since she "didn't want ramen" that night lol but this was different, savory and delicious! I got the Saikoro Mezasoba (non-spicy). If you don't like spicy, I highly recommend this one ? staff was also so nice, I was actually surprised by the service cause I don't usually expect this level of attentiveness from smaller places that you get from full service restaurants. I'll be back when I fly back to visit ?
Delicious Al dente chewy noodles, takoyaki and charsu bao.Noodles:The egg blended in was delicious.Adding the vinegar partway through per the instructions brought in a new flavor.Be forewarned that if you add the rice at the end, you get to enjoy the last drops of the robust umami flavors of the remaining sauce, but you'll also end up with spicy Raw Garlic breath and stomach as the remaining minced raw garlic settles to the bottom.
First time getting mazesoba here. Got the original mazesoba and the seafood one to share, which greatly helped here. While I find the mazesoba is delicious, it is very heavy and it can be easy to get sick of the bowl near the end. Having two flavors really helps in not getting sick of the flavors and is a great excuse to try more things on the menu!Place can get crowded and is a bit understaffed so wait times can be long.
I’m from Japan so my standards are high lol but I really like mazesoba here. Decent noodle and good pricing. Good service too.
