Great food and welcoming staff. Seafood specialist. Not all the menu was available, can be good indicator for freshly made. Prices should be reevaluated.
The service was wonderful. The atmosphere nice. The mussels were so small that they should have been allowed to grow bigger. The crab cakes were just ok.The steak was decent. And my kamakazi would have been better with fresh squeezed lime.Lime juice was overbearing, so much so that I left it unfinished.I would give 5 stars for service and atmosphere.
Great food, fun atmosphere. Our group took up a large table and after dinner we asked if we could stay for awhile.. since it was a week night that were able to accommodate. Very nice of them!
all the food was great including the drinks! the oysters and clams were phenomenal. the mussels were only ok but still good and the halibut lacked seasoning and was slightly undercooked for my taste but still extremely good. overall would definitely recommend for good seafood.
Came here for my birthday dinner. Had our little dog with us so we sat outside. Compared to the nearby restaurants with outdoor seating..think they need to revamp theirs for sure, to make it more appealing. But didn't take away from the service, still had great service and checked on often to see if we needed anything. Reason for the 3 stars was mostly the fact that we had to let them know ahead of time that we were planning to order crab or lobster (apparently it's stated that on the menu). Never heard of a restaurant where you needed to do this. But literally my intention in coming there was for eating crab or lobster! So that was a disappointment. What we ended up eating was good (mussels, lobster Mac n cheese, clam chowder, fish and chips), pricey as expected for a seafood place.
Every time I go in the food is great, the seafood fresh, and the wine delicious. Best place for oysters in Walnut Creek, maybe even the whole East Bay. Their seasonal market is also awesome. Definitely one of my favorite places to dine out in Walnut Creek. Super friendly staff.

This review is because Carrie E our server was the best! I came to dine here for a girls night because it has been soo long since I had WCYC and I was dying to eat it again and man I’m glad I came the drinks, food, dessert and surprisingly service for the first time was AMAZING! The food and drinks here are always great, very good consistency in that area. But sometimes the service can be hit or miss. I’m glad the manager has been hiring more friendly servers as of recent. Carrie did an amazing job the entire time we were there, it was a busy night but she made sure to check in on us and was very thorough with all the recommendations (great recommendations btw!), and made us laugh. The girls and I were so happy and enjoyed our night here so much! Thank you WCYC and Carrie :)
Well we had a long day going to my great uncle's funeral, so we stopped at the restaurant unfortunately they were only accepting people vaccination ID cards or something like that is it ID cards I don't know but we were able to get the back room so it was good and the staff was great. let me tell you my sister dropped the ice bucket and said sorry sir I dropped the ice bucket and the waiter said no problem! The food was really good we had a seafood dish and a friend had their sirloin burger I had the prawns and chips everyone is happy so it was a good experience
WCYC was a recommendation, I wasn't let down. Casual, great menu, service was good... Really good. Better yet, I will go back. Now if I could remember who recommended this place to me.......
