My experience here was Truly amazing. In this day and age where you pay more and get less, this is Worth Every Dollar. I received a large Delicious portion. The French Roast Coffee was Fantastic. I would Highly Highly Recommend this Restaurant. I think my Server was Lauren and she was Great

Update.. food is great but service has gone down hill. Someon one hit my car and damaged my bumper and was told that I could get the video surveillance and that mannnager would call back. I called a few times saying that they would call me back. Never got a response. We went a few days ago and where forgotten about. Had to go ask for refills, our check, and desert from the pay counter. While food is good, prices are high. Seems like a high turnover rate for employees as well. The Livermore restaurant has gone down hill so we would come here. But sadly do not plan to return. Hayward it is.

The service is friendly and attentive here, but the food really isn’t terrific. My steak was very fatty and rubbery and my baked potato tasted pretty old. I just wasn’t impressed with the quality of food this time?

We have gone here for decades for breakfast and love their biscuits and gravy ? pork chops were good too.Went fir lunch yesterday and food was incredible tasteless. Corn out of a can, no seasoning at all!! pork chops were dry, onion rings and cole slaw only thing edible. Won't be back. So sad.

Been going here for years! Classic BBQ plates, great breakfast spot, great sandwiches, friendly atmosphere. It's full of old timers, small town feel. Walnut Creek is now full of nouveau rich places but, still our fave classic spot! They have early bird specials during the week too. St Louis ribs, biscuits, omlettes, eggs Benedict, tuna melt and crab melt are my go to orders (not all at once though)! Hahaha

Service wasnt great. Food took over 30 minutes to be served. Had to call another waiter to get more coffee. Had to call another waitress to figure out where my food was after 30 minutes. Food tasted like it was done a long time ago and was microwaved to reheat as some parts were hot and most was room temperature or less

The place has great customer service which were really did appreciate. Kudos to Alejandra C. who basically earned the rating.Brunch wise I 100% in support of the previous 3⭐️ review that you would not miss it if you skip it.Let’s start from the beginning: inside dining is traditional American attire. Outside seating is relatively cool in the shade on the hot April Sunday with flowers coloring the South Main views. Great service with smiles and menu knowledge with recommendations. Went simple with Meat Lovers Omelette and Country Sausage and Eggs + 2 coffees. Food came relatively fast however absolutely basic. Cheesy omelette with ham and bacon. Slightly over dried sausage was left in the plate as well. Coffee was nice (medium to light roast regular and decaf) with in time refill and we thank you for that.Would give this place another try to check their authentic pork ribs hoping for the better.

Good customer service. Great tastes. The red sauce is a winner. Gives my other favorite rib house a run fir their money. Definitely coming back

Not kidding when they say "Come for the ribs, stay for the pies!" Delicious and substantial meals along with a huge selection of freshly made pies. Great place to grab a quick seat at the counter or bring the whole family. Not to mention the staff are all so attentive and friendly!

under cooked eggs and way over cooked sausage
